Women attempt suicide for attention and validation. Most female “suicide” attempts are stupid shit like swallowing batteries, taking 1 pill more than recommended, or light cutting. Then then immediately call 911, go to a hospital, get sent to a psych or hospitalized for 72 hours, cry about how difficult life is, have a victim story, then go home and post on social media about how brave they are.
The most left wing voting block after blacks and Jews is mentally ill white women. The latter includes virtually all cutters and pill poppers.

My sister did that but I'm pretty sure it was the whole bottle and she skipped the social media circuit. Still pretty scary when it's that close to home.
One of the couple of times I got sent to the hospital for drinking too much, they put me in with people who tried to commit suicide. I supposed that was appropriate. I was doing more to kill myself than they were. I just wasn't trying to kill myself.

Yes, they pumped her full of charcoal to leech it all out before any serious damage could set in.
It was a hell of a thing to wake up to, what with all the emergency personnel and my parents freaking the fuck out.
She's lucky in that case, many who OD on pills but get caught quickly enough still end up with a ruined liver, drastically shorter lifespan, and crippling pain if the kidneys also go. And someone who ODs doesn't get put on transplant lists.
