the game industry seems to be in a good spot right now. we have tons of great games coming out from passionate developers working on them as passion projects. the only bad part is it's still kind of hard to sift through all the stuff that's coming out to find what you want. large over inflated companies can get fucked.
Maybe stop trying to make escapism into reality. Your forced perfection of color and race and ideology has led to your vitriol and your negativity making you feel that way. Maybe just let developers make the games they want to make without any outside influence.
