From a blue state to a soon to be blue state. RIP.

It's already a blue state. The last time we won statewide at the federal level was 2016. For context that's the same as "swing" states Michigan and Pennsylvania, and 3 elections before Ron Johnson's 2022 win in Wisconsin. Even deep blue hellhole Colorado elected a Republican senator in 2014, just one election before our last win in Georgia. Kemp is only still around because he's a DNC house nigger.

You can blame Atlanta for that. It’s a dark festering wound on the whole state

Well good but why the fuck where they there for so long in the first place?

I suppose this is similar to Elon and Tesla's relocation to Texas, the state you operate in is so retarded you needed to move, I expect the new tech and industry centres are going to be in the midwest than the coast from now on.

Running a business in New York is fucking awful, especially a small business without an army of lawyers to fight off government chucklefucks.

Louis Rossmann has a rant on dealing with NYC running his Apple repair shop: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSlGTVInDOI

The Mafia never disappeared, they just work for the government now.

They were normally the government.

Never forget that one of the proposed reasons for the death of Poe was that he was grabbed by a local Mafia, and forced to vote in an election a half dozen times in different clothes while becoming more incoherent due to them hitting him and possibly boozing him.

Because that's just a thing they literally did in those days to a point where it could just happen to random guys on the street. But they won't teach you that in history class because "elections are safe and secure forever chud."

It's actually one of the things that is historically useful to show off in Gangs Of New York.

Not to mention the cost of moving a factory is a little bit higher than dissolving a corporate "headquarters" in Delaware and reopening in Texas.

Maybe they finally saw the writing on the wall after what they did to Trump. They should have moved to Florida or Texas instead of a state that will be in the same situation in a decade or two.

I wouldn't consider Florida for gun manufacturing simply due to the humidity. They'll rust right out of the factory.

A blogger I used to follow (he retired from blogging and his blog is now offline) bought a Remington 700 several years ago (this was pre-COVID)…

…that was rusted right out of the factory.

I don't know if Remington's been doing better ever since the restructuring/sale from Cerberus Capital Management, but I haven't seen anything new from them in a while.

Texas is going to be pink in a few years. Probably full blue by 2030. They should have built a Californian proof wall years ago.

I was hoping the Californians would be bullied out but unfortunately their stupidity is astoundingly resilient

We need the tech sector to crash and burn before we'll be free from Calocust.

Georgia is a bit of a risky move as well. The state is ostensibly red but it's more a RINO pink as far state level officials. Full on blue if you factor in local DA's.

Good luck with that, Remington. Best to keep the all the moving boxes handy.

If I had to guess, Remington thought GA might be safe since Glock has their US headquarters in Smyrna.

Now Georgia can have easy access to unreliable guns for women.

Sucks for the people of Ilion, though to be frank no one outside of NYC matters to New York.

Bold of you to assume anyone in NYS matters to the government.

This state jumped the shark long ago. Representatives don't even pretend to represent. The gas stove ban they rammed through last year (which will 100% be repealed before it goes into effect) despite the fact a clear majority opposed it.

This state is a rotting corpse that will suck every well-intentioned citizen dry.

Get out, don't look back, and don't ever set foot into this hellhole of a state again. It is the only option.

Not going to do well. They were moving to Alabama only to go bankrupt and forced to give incentives back to the cities. If they couldn’t handle a move to Alabama, they can’t handle a move to Georgia.
