Unless the teen is in literal constant physical agony or has lost all ability to physically function in the most literal sense, calling enabled suicide “health care” is one of the most Orwellian concepts I have ever heard.
they have to take care of their health complex! can't have these pesky teens clogging up the emergency rooms
Yeah as much as Kevorkian was demonized, he had a very rigid process of who's allowed to employ his services. Teenagers that are just drama-queens wouldn't make the cut and would probably be laughed out of the office.

That's part of it I'm sure, but this is more in service to normalizing the notion that minors can give legal consent. They're starting with 'healthcare' (abortions, transitioning, and now euthanasia), next they'll argue about lowering the voting age (which will be a boon for leftsist in of itself) but the end goal or course is lowering the age of sexual consent.
I am curious if this will be applied to abbos.
So not just the wildlife wants to kill them or their environment but their government is taking an active role in killing them..

in the moment, I would argue teens are a tax burden on the state given the cost of schooling. from a strict and ruthless financial perspective, teens have a ton of economic potential, but that potential will not be realized for at least a decade.
sure but they live with the parents and dont need welfare like immigrants which often still need to learn the language and maybe even need to learn to write/read which probably costs more than a teen who isnt going to college.

Of course, while MAID will be perfectly reasonable, and acceptable, and healthy, and wonderful with ads on TV, and whatnot, it will still be a bannable and possible criminal offense to say "stfu, go kill urself" online. That would, after all, take away profits from the big medical sector, encouraging people to use home remedies.
Because that's all you're telling them to do, if you're in a pro-MAID society: Encouraging suicide is the same as encouraging someone to take blood pressure medication, it's just encouraging a medical procedure without paying your licensing fees.
