Does that have anything to do with what's in the game or is that just some degenerate Let's Player with practically no views?

the game is fine. its an old game. I think he's referring to the player who probably just got introduced to Castlevania through the shitty woke netflix cartoon

Lament of Innocence was a below-average 3D Castlevania on the PS2. This shit is just about attention-whoring degenerates that probably got excited by the DIE Castlevania Netflix cartoon.

I thought it was pretty good. It had the usual jrpg issue with random drops of materials requiring grinding but iirc the gameplay and mechanics were fun enough.

Its sequel, Curse of Darkness, is probably still my favorite Castlevania. Smooths out most of the combat and platforming (mostly) while adding a pretty fun minion raising side mechanic on top of the standard crafting.

Curse of Darkness was much better, but still only about average in the long run. It's weird, everything Belmont-related in the games just seems so stiff now, because all they do is whip and subweapons. The non-Belmonts lately not only get lots of skills, they can equip all sorts of main weapons.

Honestly, its the only one that I find fun to replay. The creature element adds enough minor differences, as do the different weapon types you can stick with each time. Not enough for constant, but every few years. Comparatively, Symphony is way too easy to break and Dawn of Sorrow is too heavy on the soul grind (didn't play the GBA one).

The rest are, as you said, are incredibly stiff to the point of being a completely different genre of game. Good in their own way, but a different itch.

I think CoD is the closest we’ll ever get to a 3D Symphony of the Night.

I would bet my bank account on it being the latter.

OP is posting rubbish.

Uh oh, someone with cooties played a game, that means you can't play it any more or you'll get cooties too!

I only finished symphony of the night. No other castlevania ever held my attention.

Still no sotn on steam. No final fantasy tactics either.

This is such a weird IP for these idiots to set up camp on. Is it the wardrobes? The whips? Are they just drawn to defiling crosses and iconic religious imagery?

It's because of the Netflix cartoon, they sold the rights for a bunch of woke retards that turned characters homosex
