Well, that's embarassing.

I hope those greenwashing policies and mass-migration virtue-signals were worth it.

And yet, the rouble is collapsing

Country that has everything it needs doesn't suffer under sanctions: shocker.

The list of countries that could survive if totally isolated is a short list, and Russia is on it. The US, Russia, Australia, maybe a few others could all do it.

Depends. We would have to ditch the EV madness and secure a source of uranium.

Isn't that African country currently on the brink of a war after a coup very rich in uranium..

also need to purge tons of green legislation and redo tax codes to be more favorable to industry and manufacturing.

Nail on the head there. We don't even really make our own steel anymore.

Canada is there too, but try telling that the Canadians lol. They're convinced that they need the rest of the planet in order to do anything and will immediately collapse without the influx of foreign resources and workers.

There is no independent verifiable data on Russian Economy since the start of the war.

Russia is producing fake numbers to inflate their results and fuel the propaganda.

Cuba has been doing the same since the embargo, Cubans cannot take a shit because they don't produce enough toilet paper on the island, but according to the government, their gdp is higher than hong kong.

Honestly, I betcha almost all the countries on their are faking their numbers to an extent. Especially the woke places like US and communist states like China.

Russia is ranked 5th only in your imagination and your "kompromat media" source. Russia is actually ranked 9th, barely ahead of Canada.

As always OPs only source is a shitty screenshot.

Here is the real ranking and source

The rankings OP posted is adjusted in terms purchasing power parity. The one you've linked does not. That is the reason for the difference in the rankings.

It does not show "economy collapse" as stated.

What is more likely is the denominator is changing, i.e. population. PPP will increase as people leave Russia and/or die in war.

Still total FUD

People aren't leaving Russia or dying in war in significant enough numbers to affect the PPP rankings.

As for the collapse narrative, I agree that seems hyperbolic.

Potentially, but I think he might actually believe it.

Russia would be higher if it had the technological expertise required to manufacture more sophisticated things like computer parts and the like, the mob way they run things has hampered them in that department.

It's probably one of the reasons Japan is so high on the list despite their economy technically never fully recovered from their previous recession.

Post Reported for: Rule 12 - Falsehoods (x2)

This user does very aggressively post pro-Russian (and sometimes state sponsored) sources to advocate a specific pro-Russian narrative, particularly with regard to Finland. No specific factoid is false here, but the opinions and conclusions will be biased.

Turns out extracting raw materials and turning them into products works even when you're cut off from access to the international spreadsheet marketplace.

Considering population + internet, its not surprising.

Look, we see India at 3, and we know most Indians who stay in India tend to be poor AF, even more-so for those outside of the top 5%.

The value of Russia's currency is still plummeting, isn't it?

I don´t see Americans or Europeans leaving their country to go work abroad in menial jobs, that pretty much disarms your fake news.
