The thing with several denominations is that individual churches are going to vary based on the community they're in and the persuasion of the leadership (pastors, lay leaders, etc). In a way, one might consider it like a "spectrum."
I go to a Lutheran church but a more conservative synod. Otherwise I wouldn’t be there. I guess they missed the part in Genesis about God creating male and female. No grey area
Very true. I’m Missouri Synod. A basic rule of thumb for any church I would consider attending is where they stand on abortion and lgbt. Especially lgbt because sadly a lot of modern churches mistake showing love to everyone as affirming sin.
I'm sure there is a rich German Lord ready to follow this type of leadership into a new reformation of church power. Mind you it doesn't look like he's willing to actually give money to the church...
Female pastors always write the cringiest, literally non-canon, fanfic bullshit, and the competition was already stiff.
I can't help but wonder what Martin Luther would think if he saw what horrors he helped unleash upon Christianity.
This is the kind of shit he was writing his theses about. The church was making shit up and he wanted them to stick to the Bible.
We need another Luther to nail some theses to the door.
Every single protestant reformer would become a devoted son of the church.
Like as not he'd be pleased.
Definitely not the historical Luther. He called Zwingli a devil for denying the real presence, for God's sake...
Maybe you mean if he had grown up today, but there's no way to know - perhaps St. Jerome would be as well.
I was raised Lutheran.
This is one reason I stopped going to my Lutheran church.

True, the one I went to was nothing like this.
But I'd heard the governing body above it was pushing this bullshit.
Not that denominations really matter. Where there are two...
Christ is King.
ELCA has always been on the woke side compared to WELS.
I have...no clue what either of those two are.
Mine was the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (sinn-ud).

Also they don’t respect the pronouns of the creator of the universe that he used to describe himself
As far as I know this nonsense hasn't infiltrated WELS and the ELCA has always been squishy.

sounds like heresy to me
Is it the "Great queer one" or another pedophile they're worshipping?

Except God explicitly refers to himself as a male in the bible. Unless you don't subscribe to the bible as the word of the Lord, stop misgendering God
Soooo now can we keep this shit out of schools and government??
"love is love is love"
You fucking pedos
Are they officially associated?

How far they have fallen from their namesake
In fairness, at least certain segments of the Lutheran Church are basically atheism with extra steps.
I am calling for a complete and total shutdown of protestants until we can figure out what the heck is going on.
Hey Paul how's that Vatican going for you? See it goes nowhere as both are controlled by pieces of shit
