A little inside baseball for you guys, I have an “acquaintance” whose currently in New Zealand doing a US funded study on how to prevent the live-streaming of “violence”. The basis in New Zealand is the Christchurch shooting and how the live stream could be prevented by by “AI” going forward to immediately censored the live-streaming of “acts of violence”. As any sane person is aware this is not going to end well.

I've been warning about this for years and they've been wanting to implement this for years. Canadian intelligence and the FBI in particular are utterly convinced there are secret white nationalist groups and Nazis hiding out in gaming communities etc. and they're using that as the primary excuse to increase mass surveillance even more than they already have done. Can't forget about the screeching about the incels as well but it's mainly Canadian Intelligence that obsesses over them.
Gaming can teach you about life. Doesn't have to, but it can. Then you become based and wise to the BS that the FBI et all do. ie Secret white nationalist nazi.
The UK and Scottish Government obsess over them too. So much so, Scotland is introducing a new misogyny law, one of the key promises of the SNP leader, to finally deal with the "incel problem" with the rest of the UK to follow.
Yeah, that concerns the fuck out of me and is another reason to leave because even if you don't actually hate women or anything close to that just because you fit the profile of a nerdy loner who doesn't get laid you're automatically going to be put on a list because you'll be deemed a 'threat'.
Combine that with the debanking that's going on which is clearly a shit test for something much bigger. I'm not sticking around for them to concoct a way to ruin my life over something arbitrary so they can claim they dealt with an incel. Things are moving faster than I had anticipated but they're clearly eager to get on with it all. I still think though that 2024 is probably when the shitshow will happen most, the WEF has stated very clearly their plan is to have all of their bullshit implemented by 2030.

Yeah this is clear natural progression and I would have been more surprised to find out they haven't been working on this for many years already.
The fact that the US is funding it is pretty damning and unfortunately pretty routine. What's it called, the Five Eyes nations or something? Anyway, a bunch of western countries basically outsource all their heinous intelligence work to their allies so that the citizens can never pin the egregious violations of privacy and trust on the government directly. "Oh it wasn't your beloved US government that did the bad thing, it was Germany. Shame on Germany. Stay focused on how it was Germany, or New Zealand so you don't start connecting the dots and realize that your own government warrants a mob with pitchforks and torches."
Working adjacent to the Intelligence community has made me very bitter and jaded.
Note that they are funding such things overseas to get around that pesky 1st Amendment, which would normally bar them from that.
It's not just livestreaming of a criminal act like the Christchurch attack, but livestreaming of anything that the government doesn't approve of.
Like, say, a trucker convoy bringing the entire capital city to a standstill with a non-violent protest.
Or, to use a more extreme example, when (not if) patriots finally decide they have had enough of Clown World and start doing direct action missions against government agents. Clown world agents want to squelch any live streaming those dissidents might want to do, and as a corollary Clown World would want to squelch any broadcast of such media because the resistance could use it for recruiting or morale.
Pretty soon I'll just need to go outside to get my daily dose of violence.
They want to completely insulate us from the reality of life, no video of violence means no video of what's being done to us.
So then we can only see the mostly peaceful part of course.
So what sites and technologies do we need to communicate when the next banned topic comes up? (assuming a banned topic like vaccines being untested and mainly damaging)

I expect AI to be used to go beyond active moderation and censorship, I also expect it to detect behaviours and apply a risk score to every individual in a form of digital pre-crime.
I know virtually every website outside of this one considers me too much of a risk, hence the bans, shadowbanning and heavy moderation of block by default which is effective shadowbanning.
