Maybe it's because I don't roam Twitter and I'm getting a biased sample, but I am presently surprised the tool isn't being subverted by bad actors, ideologues, or blind coomnformists.
They started using something like this as a weapon against Trump. It sure backfired on them.
My only issue with it is that it so thoroughly embarrasses these people that it will deter them from posting crazy stuff on Twitter, which in turn gets in the way of my effort to gather ammunition against them.
Sadiq says “the city of london was built by immigrants”
community note says :
“ The city of London was founded around the year 50 AD. It was built up over nearly two thousand years by people we today call the English. It was not built by migrants/refugees, but by those native to the British isles.
I discovered that I couldn't see them either recently. On the same tweet, community notes did not show up in two of three browsers, Firefox and Chrome (or Edge). Did show up in the third one I tried, either Chrome or Edge. Don't remember the order I tried. Then a few minutes later, same tweet, it was working in all three browsers. I did nothing other than refresh or close the tab and try again.
Its actually pretty depressing reading the last couple of historical notes on that cityoflondon citation... Bloomberg HQ, First female Bishop and Climate action...
This refugee shipwreck has been blasted across the internet like an Nike mailing list. I saw a couple of accounts trying to promote it in r/redscarepod threads about the Titanic submarine.
There were multiple threads on mainstream subreddits that got completely called out in the comments every single top comment was saying it is the smugglers at fault, and not Greece/Italy. Also the fact that a disaster near American waters doesn't have anything to do with what happens in the Mediterranean. It was really quite level-headed.
I even saw someone say that we should just shoot one boat down and blast it across the news to stop them coming illegally. Honestly this isn't a bad idea, although I would just use an empty boat, propaganda style.
i hope everyone understands that this "windrush generation" lore, or historical turning point, or whatever its called, is the new Mayflower colonization story for the "new brittons"
understand that. This will be the UKs new history, the UK was full of illiterate mud grubbing savages until the "windrush generation" showed up and built the UK to what it is. This is their new historical story taken as fact.
They tried this is Germany and other European countries as well, using the 'guest worker' myth. In reality, they were low-skilled immigrant labor who contributed only marginally and through the largesse of 'good boy politicians' back then, were included into social security schemes, allowing them to gain access to pensions and unemployment benefits, with predictable results. This eventually opened the floodgates to large cohorts of immigrants who contributed nothing and were only immigrating for the social benefits.
(Sips drink) I really love community notes.
It's like the no hassle free bitch slapping tool..
It's fucking beautiful.

I doubt it, they're egos and need for attention is too high.
Think about ALL the times they said they'd move to Canada or boycott twitter, they can't stop being clowns desperate for an audience.
I can't see community notes unless it's a retweet - can anyone screenshot/archive?

I have the exact same issue. Are you in the EU by any chance?
I can't see it either and I'm in America.

Yep. I can see it now. I think Twitter was having a problem.
Weird, I can see it now. Also no, I'm in Australia.
And I can see it now as well.
It's random for me, didn't work on a post here a few days ago, but now I see the fact check.
I'm in Sweden btw.
Very interesting. It is anything but random for me. I only see the community notes in quote tweets, and always see them in quote tweets.

I don't want politicians getting fact checked, I want them getting body checked.
Into a wood chipper.

I dont see any community notes. Were they removed?

If only it would make a difference....
That's nice, you still have a faggot Muslim pajeet lording over you at the end of the day
