Isn't that true for all races and religions? Like because you're a part of it, you have inside knowledge of WHY you should hate them so much, just look at catholics and protestants.

Best example: I was in Afghanistan when a US Marine walked off a combat outpost and genuinely gunned down a village. People were quite surprised by the Afghani response.
Earlier in the year (or in the previous year), a Quran was found burned in a firepit by Muslim garbage crews on a US military base because the idiot chaplain thought you could just throw away Qurans without people getting fucking SLAUGHTERED. The Taliban whipped people into a fucking frenzy, and the Islamists across the world did the same. In the end, the Taliban used riotous mobs to launch a major offensive against Kabul. 200 people were killed in the overall campaign.
Everybody thought this was going to be way fucking worse. There was no question. There was no debate. This was no accident. The dude went rouge. The base initially responded to the killings as if it were a Taliban attack and tried to send QRF forces to help them, only to realize that the villagers were describing a man in US uniform, not wearing a kevlar, and firing an M4.

Dude, just... walked back to his tent. He was immediately arrested and yeeted from the country. Military personally started handing out compensation like fucking candy. "Oh... he shot you're 4 kids and 2 wives... uh... how about $40,000 per person. Your yearly wage is what? $1,000? That should cover it, right? Here's $240,000 and a soccer ball. Inshah Allah."
Even with that, everyone was expecting major, nation-wide riots that were probably gonna kill thousands. But then... nothing happened. Literally nothing. Intel was fucking confused as shit, so they went with patrols in the other areas to see why.
First, this village was literally right next to the combat outpost. This was done because the village was friendly. They had no links to separate warlords or the Taliban. They were just a quiet village that didn't want any trouble. There was no one to rile them up, or seek vengeance with the Taliban. All the other communities had a similar situation. And, they didn't know those specific people. All the nearby villages responded in the same way. "It's terrible what happened. But it happened to them. Not us. Why would we riot?" The distinctions between other ethnic groups was even bigger: "They're not even of our people. Sure, that's a bad thing, and the US military shouldn't do that. But those people have absolutely nothing to do with us. Why would we riot?" Afghanis are just too parochial to care if they haven't been whipped into a frenzy from Islamism.
This is also the same reason why you're not seeing Muslim countries respond to the Uyghurs the way they did to Afghanistan. The Arab ruling class actually realized that the Soviet invasion was an awesome way to get all the Islamists out of the country. Bin Laden originally demanded that the Saudis fund him to go fight in Afghanistan, but they decided they weren't going to pay for him to go piss off Russia. However, they could distance themselves from him, but also use the religious leaders to say that a noble jihad was in order in Afghanistan, and every Islamist really did flood into the country.
After that, the Saudis banned all of them from returning, and stated they'd be arrested on terrorism charges if they ever came back. oops.
Until the Arab world decides it needs a jihad for some reason, the Muslims aren't going to try and liberate the Uyghurs.

It's all business, Muslim leaders don't give a fuck about their people, just like the ccp doesn't give a fuck about the Chinese people, they look at them as useful human cattle, nothing more.
If they are willing to do evil against those who are their enemies, what stops them from using that lack of morality against their own people?, simple as that.

For years, China has been making huge investments in African ad Middle Eastern countries. If you criticize daddy, then daddy's money goes away.
They don't give a shit what happens to some other sect. Muslims are characterized by their insane religious zealotry; anyone who strays one millimeter away from their dogma is a subhuman infidel that deserves to be burned. That goes for even other Muslims who interpret some passages in the Quran differently from them. When they're not busy attacking the West or Israel, the assorted tribes are killing each other instead. Besides that, China is also a valuable business partner for the decadent and morally-bankrupt leadership, and that'll trump any sense of kinship they would have for the Uyghur by miles.
Because they are not neocons trying to use this as a reason to attack China.
