Well... at least on the Japanese side they're still making good looking women in their anime. Some of the most degenerate shit was actually made by women as well.

Capcom games - recently - have done this. They make characters based off of RL models, and some of them are HIDEOUS.
Trish from DMC5 for example is one. Some of the Resident Evil Remake faces are absolutely awful (Jill Valentine's).
I looked up Lily nichol and she's in a bunch of those left wing cringe shitfest films. A nobody. She's not that good looking either. But yeah, the "hero" looks more like the troon dev.

Game developers do have a way of scanning real human faces and making them look inhuman, so maybe. Wouldn't make me buy the game either way.
Except for men... even in the trailer David Ayoade is 1:1 like his real life self. You could recognise him easy. It's only for the females and only in Western games....
And yet the male characters always turn out just fine.
I've always thought they looked pretty fucking wacky too. Look at that Star Wars Souls clone. Both the ginger dude and the bug-eyed black woman looked like their faces were entirely scarred, and I kept getting the impression they had beards even when they didn't. Ironically, I almost didn't recognize Tony Amendola because he didn't look exceptionally scarred to everyone around him. There's something just not right with the technology, or at least with the operators.
