This person claims a trans joke can be funny but what would it be. They quite literally think humor isn’t funny if it makes fun of somebody above the joke teller in the progressive stack, and they’ve placed tranny-fags at the top.

Haha too true on all counts. I’m a 40 year old in law school and I once said “cunt” (referring to the vagina, not even using it as an insult) in class and you’d have thought I personally killed the dog of every person under 30. Meanwhile everyone older thought it was hilarious to hear that “soooooo offensive” word again! Old Opie and Anthony episodes would probably literally kill half of Gen Z. Same with Carlin, Stern, etc etc.

I went to a community college after highschool. One of my public speaking classes, they said the most important part of your presentation is an opening that grabs attention. So, I opened a presentation once by drawing a swastika on the whiteboard.

Looking back, I bet I would might have ended up suspended and on a watch list if I had been attending today.

He got more laughs than I expected actually. As far as the joke, he deadnamed a tranny. I could easily see someone getting offended over that.

I see this attitude from youtube randos from time to time who think they've cracked the code and figured out the perfect non-offensive way to live in current year so shut up you incel anti-sjw manbabies! It's a disease of the midwit. Smart enough to find a way to tread on eggshells, dumb enough to think that'll still work a year from now.

Dave Chappelle is an apex NPC. "No exaggeration. I have never seen a lump of coal. I don't even know what coal is for!" What the actual fuck? Why do we need to build water treatment plants? My water comes out the wall, nigga!

I don't think anyone outside Apple has the necessary figures, but I've seen estimates that Apple pays for 17 hours of labor involved in making an iPhone (which I think is a hugely overestimated because come the fuck on, you can tear one down to its basic components and reassemble it in literal minutes if you are skilled). If it is anywhere close to 17 hours of labor they are using the Chinese as living pick and place machines. In a country with $20/hr labor you're going to automate a lot more than in a country with $1/hr labor, so these people that just multiply the labor cost by 20 are idiots. There would be fewer but more skilled jobs in America than in China.

And really supply/demand determines price, so yeah it would cost a hundred (or so) more dollars to build an iPhone in America but that would mostly come out of Apples bottom line (oh no).

e: I think the whole "X would be too expensive if manufactured domestically" meme is mostly a psy-op. Looking at sneakers, Vans used to be manufactured in California and cost $25-50 adjusted for inflations. Now they are manufactured in Vietnam and cost $60-100.

With regard to Apple, I like to point out two counterpoints. First, Apple has crazy margins on their products and could afford slightly less profit if they wanted to. Second, Apple actually has a Mac assembly line in Austin, TX and it works just fine for them without it being a financial burden on the company.

If I remember correctly, Dave lives in a nice, white, rich, mostly crime free liberal area. I guess the disapproving looks from his neighbors were too much for the man.

In fact, back in the day, his racial takes were more uniting, making fun of all stereotypes

And the funny part was that much like the Boondocks, in him doing so he made black people look the worst of any race for being unable to do so. Because he absolutely ripped into other races, mostly whites, and they lined up to laugh and have a good time. As often happens, the whites embraced every slur and joke at their expense and found it hilarious.

Whereas to this day, a black guy can make fun of how niggas ain't shit, but if anyone else says it suddenly they have a mental breakdown or a violent reflex. They are so completely fragile and continued proof that the reason for race relations going south is always themselves.

I doubt he, or Aaron Macgruder, would agree with that. But that's what I, and probably many others, see from their work. That niggas really ain't shit.

I think on a political level, probably not.

But on a personal one, its good for your soul to not take yourself so seriously and be able to laugh at things.

Wait that's your level to be considered white now?

Anyone want to tell him how homophobic black people REALLY are...

It’s like they’re just going to pretend black people weren’t saying “no homo” as a habitual sentence-ender whenever they said anything remotely suggesting they liked another man, even in terms that obviously indicated friendship rather than attraction.

"Last I heard y'all niggas was havin' sex with the same sex. I show no love to homo thugs."

"How you gonna explain fuckin' a man? Even though we squashed a beef, I ain't touchin' your hand."

"I don't fuck with niggas that think they broads."

  • "Where the Hood At?" by the late DMX, on one of the best-selling albums of 2003. On rap radio, the only word in those lines censored was "fuckin". It still gets played sometimes.

It's so true. Until recently I lived in a high crime coastal city. They want nothing to do with faggotry of any kind.

I've often thought that it would be a fun bit of culture jamming to put up billboards in black neighborhoods featuring black boys in dresses with progressive political slogans as the caption. Something that you can't argue against under the current orthodoxy, like "Black trans kids matter", or "We support trans kids of color." Then lol as they them flip their shit, tear the signs down, etc.

It would be like the "Islam is right about women" thing, the media wouldn't know how to handle it.

I believe it was Craig Ferguson who said "comedy is the reflection in the mirror of today's society. In the 90s comedy was fun and bubbly, a whimsical teddy bear. Now it's a grotesque and dark monster that we all know is there but noone really wants to take a gander at."

He should have taken over for David Letterman.

If I remember right colbert was letterman's 4th or 5th choice to replace him, and to this day he wasn't satisfied that they chose him. He did an interview back in 2016-17, and apparently his top choice was norm mcdonald but after the SNL shenanigans the network execs thought doing so would make the "late night" thing unwatchable.

Norm would've been perfect, if not for the cancer he was hiding.

Meh, he would've been good for a few years at least. If canadian tv shows like the jon dore television program have taught us anything, it's that longevity doesn't necessarily translate to popular success.

Yeah well, I'm getting sick of rich black dudes talking about "social issues." The "social issues" they "joke" about are just "white people suck and their existence is a threat to black people, who are in absolutely no way responsible for the 52% of crime that happens." I'm thinking we should have treated Dave Chapelle and his ilk for the anti-white jokes they made in the 90s the same way the left treated him for his one incredibly softballed trans joke. We've seen how these things go; they start off light, then become gradually more hostile until they're no longer jokes at all, but functional calls to arms. This is why the left won't allow anyone to poke fun at their sacred cows; because this is exactly how they've played this game.
