You could get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich.
Theoretically, the state needs to prove guilt. Realistically, juries assume guilt all the time.
I don't know who still falls for this. I would have hoped people started to realize that when the parties are working together (muh "biPArtIsan SUpPOrt") is when they are at their most corrupt.
Oh yeah, I've definitely run into those people. It's just... disappointing, to say the least. They are usually midwits who stay "very well informed" by following all the correct corporate news sources and NPR.
