Theoretically, the state needs to prove guilt. Realistically, juries assume guilt all the time.

I don't know who still falls for this. I would have hoped people started to realize that when the parties are working together (muh "biPArtIsan SUpPOrt") is when they are at their most corrupt.

Oh yeah, I've definitely run into those people. It's just... disappointing, to say the least. They are usually midwits who stay "very well informed" by following all the correct corporate news sources and NPR.

Trump is already running for President and he can be literally in jail and still run and win.

Anyways, they still haven't said what the charges are, have they? Dragging it out for entertainment value, I guess.
