I don't want an apology, I want you to:
Your apology doesn't mean shit when nothing has been done to fix the fact that a hostile coup imprisoned hundreds of people illegally in a political prison; and no one is even campaigning for their immediate pardon. Give me one reason why someone should be held without charge for 3 months. Give me one reason why people charged with misdemeanors shouldn't see their attorney until trial. Give me one reason why people with misdemeanor charges are facing 8 months in 23 hour solitary confinement until trial. Give me one reason why the QAnon Shaman agreed to a 31 month prison sentence, only if he apologized to the judge about his beliefs and publicly condemned Donald Trump; only for the judge to accept the guilty plea & reject the settlement by sentencing him to 41 months instead. The best literally any of us can hope for is a pardon after we win. And even then, only maybe. So I don't care about negotiation, debate, or dialogue. Peace through victory is our only answer. I no longer believe in justice, and I no longer believe that anything but unconditional and undisputed victory is the way forward on any issue. We've been told so many times that the answer to every complaint, objection, protest, demand, and even plea has been "kill yourself" that I'm simply just not interested in any sort of amnesty. Because of assholes like you, we are de-banked, dehumanized, and disrupted. Our country is burning, our civilization is dead, and all you can say is "oops sawwy". Which, I will remind you, several of the January 6th defendants have done thanks to the relentless persecution of the DOJ and prison staff.

Before the propaganda machine even started, while most of the government was still huddled on the floor crying, everybody could clearly and openly see what was happening. The truth wasn't be suppressed yet, the media hadn't gotten their marching orders in, and many of the guys there recorded or even live streamed themselves.
There is literally no way to fall for this. The only two options are you wanted to believe it, making you an unreliable retard no one should ever talk to again, or you are seeing the shift happen now and are trying to get ahead of it rather than sink with the ship, like a coward.
Its almost certainly the second option, and I expect a lot of the "right" who were all in on J6 to do the same pretty soon.
They just didn't see any of it. They weren't watching the footage, they were waiting for the media machine to get going so they could get "the full story".
This is a good article for boomers (I hope). One of their own left leaning pundits is saying, openly, "I trusted the archaic nrws media, and they were either wrong or lied about everything".
Which they are only doing because the pendulum is swinging back hard and they don't want to be caught being held to having believed it. Its a classic woman "I'm not like other girls" move. The moment a shift in society happens somewhere, a bunch of them line up to be on the opposite side to appear unique and better.
And in this case, sucker in a bunch of Righties by pretending to be "one of the good ones" who can admit when they are wrong and are on their side, and then sell them Left Wing shit once she has their trust.

I think they're aware how little their contrition counts for now, looks like they're just regretting the consequences of their own actions now they've realized what they've destroyed and how it isn't coming back.
Her apology also comes with many conditions and caveats.
She still doesn't believe Tucker Carlson's version of events.
She refuses to believe that J6 was "mostly peaceful chaos".
She still calls J6 protesters "violent" who "violently entered the Capitol".
She still wants these "violent" trespassers prosecuted to the fullest ability of the law.
She has more criticism of Tucker Carlson in her "apology" than Chuck Schumer or the J6 committee.
She still pretends the Capitol is some sacred place where plebs shouldn't tread.
The "apology" is bait to try to get people to agree with her version of events but pretend to acknowledge the actual events.
This whole thing is a good reminder, to everyone, to check their biases before they start shooting their mouth off.
I'm not a fan of Tucker and he's made exagerated and unfounded claims before. However, while I don't take my talking points from him, I'm grateful that he's release the raw footage so that everyone can draw their own conclusions from objective facts.
That's what the news media is supposed to do: report the facts. Once upon a time, their bandwidth was so limited that they could only show the bits and pieces they felt were important.
Today? There's no reason CNN can't link, or even host, every piece of video from Jan 6.

We need leftists to call out media like they used to. That's kinda what they're for; to oppose cartels and capitalism gone too far. Instead, for the last decade, they've been cheerleading megacorps for pushing their message and ignoring what's going on behind the scenes.

Naomi Wolf has been been slowly opening her eyes for past few years. It seems they are now becoming too open for some of her old beliefs to continue to stand.
