Real interesting how these people have been failing upwards for a decade, isn't it? Almost as if they are promoted based on politics instead of performance.
The Eerily realistic crazy "triggered" chick complaining about two clothed avatars pretend-dry humping from 2 feet apart in GTA. A game full of murder.
A normal person sees that and thinks 'Wow, just listen to this fucking retard, totally detached from reality. How can anyone look at that jank-ass clown shit and even begin to care?'
But the embedded apparatchiks infiltrating and subverting institutions and corporations look at that and think 'Wow, she's willing to say anything for the cause, no matter how ridiculous and stupid it is, she understands that humiliating herself doesn't matter as long it starts the conversation! I need to hire this comrade now! WE CAN TOPPLE THE WEST! ... AND THEN RULE IT!'
I foolishly decided I’d give the new canon a chance and read the aftermath trilogy. Now I just stick to pre Disney Star Wars. I never thought I’d say I have no interest in future Star Wars projects
Nice. I recently finished book one of legacy of the force. You didn’t care for NJO? I have a lot of EU/Legends and still have more comics and books to get through. If you haven’t read it I recommend Kenobi.
Legacy of The Force was a great series, Bloodlines & Revelation really pushed the series into my top 5 EU series. How you’d like the first book?
Rereading the X-Wing series right now, haven’t read it over a decade. On the Wraith Squadron book currently. Could’ve been a phenomenal show is someone had accurately adapted the series. That goes for a lot of the EU books, like Kenobi, but they just had to bait & switch and turn into a large scale galactic level adventure, instead of making the more personal ground level story it needed to be. SMH
A Rogue Squadron/Wraith Squadron movie or miniseries would have been a lot of fun in 2007 and would be some of the most cringeworthy shit imaginable in 2023. A Thrawn trilogy starring Jeffery Combs (played several Star Trek characters including Brunt, Weyoun, and Shran) as Thrawn and Liam Cunningham (played Davos Seaworth on Game of Thrones) as Pellaeon would have been incredible too.
Oh man, I can't remember much about the Wraiths other than loving those books. They were great. They weren't just pilots, they were specialists. They weren't superhuman.
Definitely better written than the Rogue Squadron books, though those were nothing to scoff at either. Too bad that author went straight into Gary Stu territory later on with Corran Horn in "I, Jedi." I'd considered Corran one of my favorites, but the more I think about that novel, the more frustrated I get.
I loved the first book and even though I know the spoilers I’m still interested in reading them. But I’ve got a lot of the old republic stuff to catch up on as well. I remember when I heard about Disney’s Kenobi show and was thinking that it was clear cut an agenda because it sounded like they just wanted to have women overshadow Kenobi. The legends book should’ve been the template for the show.
It's not so much I didn't care for it as much as it was I was starting to get tired of reading for entertainment. I think there's still one in my collection I hadn't read yet: Outbound Flight. Anyways, from what I'd been spoiled on, it just seemed like it was starting to get ridiculous how the galaxy would never know peace, and at some point, they would start killing legacy characters for shock value, senseless political drama (for the sake of drama, not propaganda), and make certain twists that seem out of nowhere.
I understand. Have you read any of the old republic stuff? You gonna read Crucible since it’s the last EU book? I have Outbound Flight but haven’t read it yet.
always was. just took til TLJ to show that they cut his cock and balls off and turned him into a blubbering vagina who has to cope, seethe, and dilate.

Suddenly, I feel like my collection of 40+ Star Wars novels has more value than ever before. All of them pre-NJO.

Jeffery Combs already played a blue skinned combat master, pink skin.
Ah, fuck, another fantastic thing that could have happened that Disney has ruined.

Also if you haven’t read them the Han Solo trilogy is good along with Lando’s Trilogy

Nah. As I said, I don't really read novels for entertainment anymore.
Oh yea. You did say that.

And only in the industry through her husbands connections and not her own merits.
I'm not too familiar with star wars, but didn't anakin murder a bunch of kids? If so I think he's honorary-lgb by default.

at this point.. every damn character in every media and medium has a gay version in some "multiverse" or whatever.
In their own canon they show obi wan having a love interest lmao
Isn't Luke hugging a woman in this picture?
Which do you believe more, your lying eyes or the Party, comrade?
Seems like jar jar binks is the gay one. Luke had a crush on his sister ffs.
Luke... Your
trainingcucking is complete! So the + part now includes incest? Cut the T and just go back to LGB. We're done here, folks.
Don’t care.
"NooOOoOOooooooo."
That’s not true!
That’s (literally) impossible!!!
Only if you consider Sam maggs work to be real and not just really bad fanfiction
