I get freedom to protest but in the last few years I’ve grown sick of activists and protestors. Especially in these situations. They are too stupid to wait for the facts of the situation. Before joining the Air Force I seriously considered being a cop. Glad I didn’t.
Communist riots and genuine protests have nothing to do with each other, though there are a lot of people who are very invested in telling you they're the same thing.
"Are they striking to get better pay or working conditions? What are their current status, is it indeed worse than it should be?"
That's basically the shorthand litmus test for protests. If they're poor, oppressed, or dispossessed, they're probably being mocked by rich or powerful people. If they've not actually got a legit cause, they're likely supported by powerful people.
So far the funniest part to me is that the official antifa story about what started this is "some pigs got scared and started shooting at each other and then martyred a comrade for absolutely no reason. acab acab fuck 12".
So...some terrorists decided to turn Atlanta into downtown Jerusalem and the local population, needing something to do on a Saturday night, decided to put on their lootcrew hoodies and decided to rob the place blind?
In case anyone doesn't know this terrorist shot a state trooper and put him in the hospital, so the other troopers returned fire. It's hard to imagine a more justified shooting.
Recently they set 25 delivery vans on fire in Berlin. Before that they vandalized several businesses and homes. Before that they occupied an abandoned town and attacked police. Before that they blocked roads, vandalized political offices, abused emergency services and harassed people "for the climate". While they're not busy with all that they assault people they deem to be "far right" with hammers and try to kill them.
And that's only the last couple of months.
Yet somehow "the right" is the real threat to democracy according to our corrupt politicians.
Same Atlanta PD that the previous mayor told to stand down. The only difference in question is there is a new mayor who claims to be more law-and-order. However, still an avowed leftist

If the media, the government, and the corporations support a cause, then it isn't a protest. It's an enforcement of power.
