That's basically the shorthand litmus test for protests. If they're poor, oppressed, or dispossessed, they're probably being mocked by rich or powerful people. If they've not actually got a legit cause, they're likely supported by powerful people.
That’s true. I do have to remind myself that legit causes exist. I guess the media backing of one protest over another is highly irritating
If the media, the government, and the corporations support a cause, then it isn't a protest. It's an enforcement of power.
