I think a lot of people on here forget that the average Normie is still largely disconnected from the internet and our conversations on here.
So I guarantee that a large part of the reason goes along these lines:
"Oh, Velma? That looks like a Scooby-Doo related thing! That might be neat. Lets just give it a watch and...WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS THIS HORSESHIT!?" And then at work the next tell, he tells everyone "Yeah, that Velma show? It's absolute ass! Dont watch it."
Then three weeks later, HBO is asking "What happened to all of our viewers? Well, time to cancel it I guess."
“Biggest Premier Day for a Max Original Animated Series Ever”
Max Original… there are only 5 adult animated series and 13 kids and family animated series (some of which are completely gone from HBO Max.) Not much of a victory when half the shows ran away and the rest of paraplegics.
Is this a valedictorian of a class of two situation? What other HBO Max original cartoons even are there?
So out of 18. And a lot didn't get shit for advertising and were when thr service itself was smaller. Also those qualifiers. Very specific.
Also worth noting a ton of things there along the lines of "One Season, Canceled", which probably doesnt help for the comparisons.
Yeah, HBO Max is known to have a lot of those animated programs...
Hyped things always do well week 1.
Wait for week 3. See the viewership then.
This is the honest answer.

Believe it or not, I got the line from George Lucas.
Still DOA
They're bragging that a lot of people showed up to watch a train wreck?
Views are views.
A lotta babies make it to 6 weeks...and then, they take a trip to Planned Parenthood.
😏😀 You mean unborn babies, right?
😏😕 You mean unborn babies, right?
That’s odd. I hear even the critics weren’t fond of it
The last
cartoonanimated series I remember being hyped by HBO was Spawn back in ‘97.Let's see.... Daphne - the pretty, white redhead is played by.....Constance Wu. Lol
Let’s read the lines here shall we:

based on what? none of the numbers are public or real.
As long as you add enough qualifiers, you can make just about anything "#1".
