I dunno if someone who worked at THQ should be opining about how to make a company successful.
Here's the thing. According to the leaks from former staff, they never had any proper design iteration. They don't even have a test environment. All features go live into production and can't be tested except by live users.
So yes, Elon does need some proper software development standards. Unfortunately Twitter has never had them. So, it's not like Elon did anything wrong to cause this environment. Twitter has just always been this shit.
It’s not even the designs that are the problem, it’s Elon’s erratic policies.
Elon says that all of the accounts will receive an amnesty but then accounts like Alex Jones and Rebecca (of Blonde in the Belly of the Beast) remain banned. Or how he said that ElonJet would not be banned but then changed his mind after what seems to be an unrelated incident. Or how prominent left wing celebrities are “permanently suspended” for rules violations but then are unbanned because “reasons”.
I just want consistency out of Musk.
You can't. It's the nature of leadership by executive, versus leadership by bureaucracy.
Executive leadership involves very few people making command decisions at a given time. It will be generally inconsistent, but you will clearly see the intentions of a single person be manifest.
Bureaucratic leadership requires a plethora of procedural detail. It absolutely generates consistency, but it will have a perpetual gap of incompleteness, and bureaucratic subversion, stupidity, and inflexibility will manifest.
It's Godel's Incompleteness Theorem come to life:
So Elon is a Complete Logical System? Cool.
If you think about it, the is an inherent problem of principles and ideology. They represents an objective moral framework to the universe which, at best, should be inherently internally consistent. Inevitably, this system must generate inconsistent results.
Ideological Totalism is inherently inconsistent.
Has any of that been posted here. I would love to read one of your long posts about it.
My post isn't as startling as the actual leak itself:

I like the term Globalist Cum Dump. I hope it becomes a common term.
The Kardashians are a GCD.
"These tweets are protected."
I hope he was ratioed, faggot.
Every retard that does this is not worth listening to anyways
Every piece of 'business' software I've used in my entire adult life has been objectively worse for someone with adequate skill level than the previous iteration.
The world could use a lot of UX Engineers who actually know how to build a functional UI. Instead, it has a bunch of numptys who keep moving things deeper into sub-menus, splitting functions commonly used together farther and farther apart, and lack simple functions that users would expect.
These are the people who write computer programs that can't count in binary or hexadecimal. The people who create programs that sort 10 next to 100 instead of 11.
I had to screen capture it because Twitter won't allow it to be shared regularly.
Twitter changing and then becoming successful could change every company with bloated bureaucracy. Small teams creating the direct needed product, and that's it, would destroy the needs for a larger company. Testing ideas would be direct but perilous.
This opinion shows how they do it in the traditional way, and why companies are so large. The demand for expertise is to keep things the same or controlled by people who demand conformity.
... and why we get cookie-cutter games, movies, books, etc.
Pretty much
It's not about keeping things the same, it's about providing an endless supply of do-nothing busywork jobs for well connected people with woke beliefs.
Better for you that you couldn't. You would've been bullied for not linking to nitter.
"Priest" is just an old word for "expert".
Hadn't listened to this in ages, the words sure hit more than they used to:
We've taken care of everything
The words you read, the songs you sing
The pictures that give pleasure to your eyes
It's one for all and all for one
We work together, common sons
Never need to wonder how or why
We are the priests of the Temples of Syrinx
Our great computers fill the hallowed halls
We are the priests of the Temples of Syrinx
All the gifts of life are held within these walls
Look around at this world we've made
Equality, our stock in trade
Come and join the Brotherhood of Man
What a nice contented world
Let the banners be unfurled
Hold the Red Star proudly high in hand
I didn't think it would work, but after getting used to the pastel colors, the game is fun.
Monster respawn cycle is well balanced.
Even the weapon durability system, which I though I would hate, was okay.
Boss and their dungeons are well done. The "collect orb pieces" dungeons are okay.
Some events/puzzles that are based on game time of day are annoying even with the "make a campfire" option.
In abstract, it's very cool.
Having to try-over several times, to figure what/where precisely is the trigger in very short time frame becomes a clear case of "FAQ you game" ( look up the solution in a guide to avoid wasting 15 minutes ).
Well Twitter normally did everything he's suggesting and it was swirling the drain, losing money before Elon bought it.
At least he's trying something differently - even if it might not work.
It is important that Musk find experts he can safely collaborate with/delegate to, but there's good cause for Musk to be the only one making decisions when the last experts were engaged in a fascist conspiracy to bury Biden's dirty laundry.
It's not wrong to say that Elon is falling face first into some very, very predictable pits with the decisions he's been making.
But the 'tailspin' just... isn't.
Twitter is still far better now than it was before Elon bought it. The only thing in a tailspin is the emotional state of the shitlibs who were used to ruling the roost.
Any "mistake" Elon has made at Twitter is inconsequential experimenting. The site is far better with him leading it now.
This is just another "expert" being wrong about everything again.
