I was really discouraged when I heard the classist thing and almost ready to say goodbye to the club,” she said. “I talked to my adviser, though, and he told me most revolutions actually start with people from industrious backgrounds, like Che Guevara.

Bunch of teenage commie larpers who think putting their phone down for two hours makes them just like their commie heroes. The message is sound, but every last one of these people is an insufferable narcissist.

Lighten up. This is a healthy trend. What else would you expect a public school advisor to say?

I'm happy any time I see someone able to disconnect from their phones for a while. There's some I know who wouldn't be able to handle being away from their phone for a couple hours. It's not just teens either, it's old people. Honestly, the small handful of teens I know aren't all that attached to their phones, but they also grew up with parenting.

I do have to wonder though, is this Logan in the article a tranny?

My wife is like that. Constantly on her phone, even at the dinner table.

If not, then she has some incredibly unfortunate bone structure for a girl.

Odille, Clementine, Jameson: Damn parents name their kids some cringy shit these days. Err, I guess did 16 years ago. Calling a girl (if in fact that is a girl) Logan is bad enough

I'm gonna name my kid Astartes

One of the hottest girls at my university was named Logan.

I thought it was odd.

“I still long to have no phone at all,” she said. “My parents are so addicted. My mom got on Twitter, and I’ve seen it tear her apart. But I guess I also like it, because I get to feel a little superior to them

Typical insecure female

Vee De La Cruz, who had a copy of “The Souls of Black Folk” by W.E.B. Du Bois, said

Still is.

Many read intently — the books in their satchels included Dostoevsky’s “Crime and Punishment,” Art Spiegelman’s “Maus II” and “The Consolation of Philosophy” by Boethius. The club members cite libertine writers like Hunter S. Thompson and Jack Kerouac as heroes, and they have a fondness for works condemning technology, like “Player Piano” by Kurt Vonnegut. Arthur, the bespectacled PBS aardvark, is their mascot.

Don't be so quick to condemn them.
