It's really bad that we can go "in other news, a shooting happened at a place of education, he's the death ratio and now the weather"
This wasn't a thing a century ago when the nuclear family was king and EVERYONE had access to guns.
This wasn’t the norm pre columbine and was still pretty rare after it for a while.
And the most irritating things about the gun aspect is there is no real leap in tech on our guns since vietnam. The weapon tech we have now is old enough to be a grandparent. But our media and the left blame them for all of this and not their failed policies and failed anti family and anti responsibility culture they decide to promote.
It's still not that common. It seems common because they report every single one all day every day for a week.
If it was, say, as common as gangland shootings in Chicago you'd never hear about it because it wouldn't be news.
Yes and no. It wasn't the norm in schools, but shootings by disgruntled postal workers were a thing, giving rise to the term "going postal."
So the guy is black hence is going to be about gun control
Nah, if the guy is black then the story will vanish down the memory hole before people can begin to identify patterns of behavior.
Only if he used AR 15. More likely it will be buried
That if they can't find an angle to link him to the right
True. If they find a Sowell book in his room then it will be about white supremacy
:)) For sure.
But us highly unlikely. I just can't see someone who would go do an act of violence of this nature to read Sowell.
Me neither. In my area there was a shooting at a school and then I didn’t hear much more. My first thought was they weren’t white. I was right.
Three dead, two injured and it's a black shooter??? Oh my god, they are learning to shoot.
We'll be in serious trouble if they learn how to swim.
Odds are he didn't murder these people because he was stressed by the challenges of competitive advanced study, like this guy might have been:
"On April 16, 2007, comprising two attacks on the campus of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia, [. . .] Seung-Hui Cho, an undergraduate student at the university and a U.S. resident who was from South Korea, killed 32 people and wounded 17 others with two semi-automatic pistols."
Is there something in the Virginia water or atmosphere that leads people to wig out and massacre their neighbors? The fact that the above atrocity is easily forgotten amid routine reports of casual slaughter is somewhat troubling.
College asshats live in fear of "white supremacists." I wonder if this dose of reality will make them think more closely about their assumptions . . . Nah!
Asians just perform better than blacks in academic settings
I saw that. This will be buried
Update? The deceased were football players, suspect was reportedly on the team roster in 2018.
This may not have been random.
Only three? The FBI is slipping.
Heartbreaking. Prayers for the victims and their loved ones.
national news!
its a BLACK suv.... in BLACKSburg.... but the suspect is "wearing a burgundy jacket or hoodie, with blue jeans and red shoes."
