Superman and Spider-Man are my all time favorite comic book characters. Out of my 5500 plus comics about 20 percent are Superman. So why did this idiot think actual fans wanted to see the character disrespected like that
You're counting on them being rational. All they care about is "the message" and not to write a good story. Thankfully they suck, if you think about it: them making good content with their message hidden more than in plain sight could actually do damage to our side so it's good those people can't write for shit.
