My point was that the draft isn't a bad thing for the Ukraine because of the mindset that the Ends justify the Means. In this case, the ends is specifically about defeating Russia, so therefore any means, like a draft, is fully justifies in their minds.

A draft in a defensive war is an entirely different beast than a draft in an offensive war. If someone believed the post-revolution government of Ukraine was legitimate then they will naturally believe that said government conscripting citizens to repel a foreign invasion is also legitimate.

How can anyone be "forced to fight for their owners"? Once they give you weapons, you kill as many of them as possible.
