Holy hell. Every fucking day I lose a bit more respect for teachers. It wasn't THAT long ago that this stuff was unheard of in schools--at least in the sane parts of the country--but now it's a damned plague of perverseness.

This is an official policy statement from a national teacher's union approving this pornography as "lessons" for schoolchildren.
I feel sorry for families who have no other option than a public school.
Parents in a position to remove their children from public schools who don't care will get what they deserve, and progressive parents who love this sort of shit will feel validated and the number of ignorant perverse dupes will increase.

Abolish all Teaching organizations. Teachers should be employed and have to answer to families locally.

There's a trend in TTRPGs to use safe words to avoid certain types of duress in a scene (like not wanting to play a scene with a lecherous NPC or a scene with gore, etc.).
I didn't think much of it at first, besides the fact that anyone who approaches the table that way is a retarded pussy. Then I saw a throwaway line in a forum to the effect of "you know this just normalizes BDSM in the wider public, right?" and now I can't not see a lot of new behavior and language in the light of "what is this attempting to tangentially normalize?" Or in the case of the NEA, directly normalize.
I'm terminally naive and initially thought it was a decent tool for navigating horror games at conventions.
Then I remembered writing exists and the GM could just put a content list at his table.
Then I remembered common sense exists (nominally) and you could just not play skeevy games with strangers.
