People who push the global warming noncesense have absolutely fueled my hate. They lay in the street, damage great art, cripple energy grids, and none, I believe, are good people.

"Environmentalists": We need to stop using fossil fuels!

Others: Ok, build more nuclear power plants.

"Environmentalists": REEEEEE!

First author Dr. Annika Stechemesser said: "People tend to show a more aggressive online behavior when it's either too cold or too hot outside.

People are more likely to be jerks when they're uncomfortable. I'll call the Nobel committee.

That said, blaming discomfort on climate change implies that without human-caused climate change the entire world would be permanently at ideal room temperature.

People are more likely to be jerks when they're uncomfortable.

That does explain some things such as those following he-who-shall-not-be-drawn, maybe also people who were once kings.

Online hate crimes as they call it are fueled by their constant incessant bitching. I didn't used to want to go on about faggots, niggers, and trannies and hell I still don't want to now. It's being so heavily shoved down my throat the "hate speech" is a gag reflex.

Oh, and when it's hot outside, I'm more likely to be inside on the computer. News flash, it was hot outside here 100 years ago too.

Study: reduction in global warming fueling increase in IRL hate crimes as fewer people go online when it's nice outside.

"We see outside the feel-good window of 12-21°C (54-70°F) online hate increases up to 12 percent for colder temperatures and up to 22 percent for hotter temperatures across the USA."

That's not global warming. That's just extreme hot and cold temperatures. The actual temperature increase from global warming is imperceptible over our lifetimes. It's only been 1 degree the past 100 years.

It doesn't help that most "climate change advocates" have some of the most rabidly punchable faces on the planet.

According to experts, how people react online:

"Fuck it's so hot outside, I'm gonna call a bunch of gay guys faggots and black people joggers to cool down"

It wudn't Jussie, it was GLOBAL WARMING!

Also do note how the 'article' seamlessly moves from 'hate crimes' to 'online hate speech'. I.e., words that they do not like.

The AI (artificial intelligence) algorithm identified around 75 million English phrased hate tweets in a data set of more than 4 billion posted between 2014 and 2020.

I totally trust an "AI" algorithm that claims fully 2% of what was posted was a hate crime.

"Being the target of online hate speech is a serious threat to people's mental health."

This shit makes my blood boil.

Here's some "hate speech": I hope the writer of this tripe gets hit by a bus.

"Hate crime" = thought crime.

"Hate speech" = free speech.

Full stop.
