It's absolutely trained. A toddler will eat nearly anything you put in front of him. His preferences will come and go, but he won't know rejecting food outright is an option until you teach him it is.
I hate that mindset that a pet is the "furbaby" and is like exactly like a kid. I get it, loyal companion or whatever but I'm not bankrupting myself on dog chemotherapy either.

And I know that I will bury the rest in my backyard. Because they are dogs. I name the after food. If they want a real name, they can get a real job. Well, people should at least give it some thought before they have their dogs castrated. But it is ultimately an option, because they're animals. It's hard to even understand the mentality of people who would castrate, mutilate, etc. other human beings. You can justify doing it to an animal. If you do it to a fellow human being you yourself are not human.
If I had the money, space and people I could trust, I'd set up a system of private boarding schools that would take in all these kids in, teach them valuable trade skills along with basic to advanced maths, Science and English
I may also teach them combat training and create my own private army but at least they'd still have their balls/tits under my plan!
