Oh good, now let’s apply that logic to the large swaths of “racist” and “bigoted” books you same harpies have banned for decades. Maybe we can have a drag queen story hour of the unaltered Huckleberry Finn.

I want them to read Chris Rock's standup special from 1995.

Funny how they're never saying "freedom of speech isn't freedom from consequences" when it's them facing the consequences of their own actions.

The American Library Association said it counted an “unprecedented” number of book ban attempts in 2021

Who wants to bet that they didn't count any of the left's attempts to cancel things that don't meet their purity tests?

Not to mention how probably all their "banned" books are still publicly available, just no longer part of mandatory school reading.

This is precisely the point. Lefty librarians are so full of themselves they've forgotten the meaning of "public."

I understand how hysteria can lead to parents who normally drop their kids off at a place and forget they exist, suddenly realizing they dropped them off at groomer's instead the pet groomers. This happened in the 80s.

That's not what's happening here. You have a pink-haired queer with her pedophile propaganda, starting things, but the washington byblow is leaving so much out. A lot of those people wouldn't have gotten worked up over just the book being still in the building. This was antagonized and worse, I bet.

Why are we allowing all these scum soft jobs? $16.25 an hour to stock books and read to kids, and it's not enough for a small michigan town? I make almost 3.50 less in a tourist area of Florida and can barely afford my bills, not including a car. Defund them, defund anyone who has never done anything but make people miserable and get fatter.

Patmos Library's youth services librarian, Kaitlin McLaughlin, worries about the harassment toward staffers. (Joshua Lott/The Washington Post)

Looks like "caitlyn jenner" if you get my drift

Yep.

I sincerely hope she gets much more serious threats to worry about than "harassment" . . . soon.

Leftists when conservative is banned from Facebook: "free speech does not mean you're entitled to a platform"

Conservatives: "ok, bet"

Leftist unemployed librarians: "wait no"
