Every woman in the tv shows from europe is either some bored continental chick who can't catch an emotion if she sat on it trying to solve a murder, usually in some small town, usually a minority character, murderer is always white male.
Every american woman is either a crazy bitch emotional wreck looking for a man or the smug cunt that solves crimes while looking for a man.
God help you if the show features more than one lead actress.
This makes me miss Buffy season 7.
This is a big factor in why crime mysteries can't be properly done today.
And not only that, I used to surprise my wife that after watching 5 mins of a movie I could tell who the bad guy was or that the black character that seems evil is in fact good. I finally told her how I did it, she did not like it.
On the flipside, imagine how fucking boring solving black murders would be. "Suspect drove his own car, brought his phone with him, and then streamed shooting up his neighbors in broad daylight before speeding off, officer caught him doing 95 in a 35 four blocks from the still warm body, witnesses are stupid but a body on the stand is a body on the stand." Hell just last week the brother of a prolific NFL player. Literal multi-multi-millionare, was filmed shooting a youth football coach in public. Let's see if we can get 30 minutes of programming out of that mystery.
It's the best term for it. TV is gay now. Imo we are entering the age of informed consumption. Much like a parallel economy is formed, parallel clusters or swatches of past entertainment are being carved out and sought per allegiance. All because we innately understand that it is programming.
Programming is such a weird thing. Program is also the description of needs for a building.
I'm reading a book about theme parks and programming gets really confused.
They also have difficulties with how modeling works.
This reminds me of this Bollywood action film I tried watching called RRR. It depicted every white British soldier beating on Indian guys for minor altercations. Such as, "hey sorry forgot my ID card", then beats the shit out of Indian guy randomly. Then white female savior trope has to tell the soldier to stop.
I get that they were under British rule for a long time, but I'm really tired of even non-Hollywood films doing the "wHiTE gUy bAd" meme.
It makes their own ancestors look like weak, inferior cucks to the white man. White people only thrived in that area because they kissed or kicked the right ass. Most of the rich families in India today are rich because they helped exploit their own people.
Isn't India one of the few places where men and women's suicide rates are similar?
I don't love suicide or anything but both the west - and places like russia - you can tell men have it worse with their exponentially higher rates.
This is true, bollywood has been courting White women for ages now. It is at the level of being a cultural or governmental Indian directive lol. They don't understand that the sir does not get the girl IRL. They are pozzed by la-la land hollyweird exports to the point of pissing considerable cultural muster into the wind.
Back in the day broadcast radio stations played good music, or at least decent music.
Then because of CD players with shuffle and perfect audio the wealthier people stopped listening to radio so the stations started playing black music. Then more recently their big audience is day laborers and so a lot of stations play spanish music.
Same thing with movies/tv, they're just following their paying audience.
Today if you have a brain in your head you're watching educational videos or doing a hobby or at least pirating entertainment. Entertainment's money comes from idiots who feel good about paying $15/mo to Netflix because they make all that virtue signaling crap; most of them would gladly pay $50/mo if they could direct half of it to Cuties 2.
There was a lot of woke lurking around for a long time, but I actually think the smart, white men left entertainment before it really became anti-white/anti-men and it was due to the internet and games. They didn't care about losing white men because they already weren't paying.
Oh it’s been well before the woke when the smart talented men left. 1970s was the begin of the brain drain in media. Before that, many actors had to have a trifecta of skills (Mostly act, sing, and dance.) If you didn’t have all three, you had to be really good at the other two or extraordinary in one. The 70s introduced the “Look and Act Good” that started the talent drain. When ever the brain drain starts, the smart ones flee or thrown into obscurity.
And that is why I rarely watch newer stuff. Just stick to the old. A while ago I saw HBO's spawn series. Never watched it before, was pretty amazing.
There's so much older content and newer, non woke content(usually not from western productions) that I don't see the need to watch the new stuff.
That's the thing, I've been around long enough that I've seen a great deal of the old stuff. I need something new.
I have been watching past seasons of Enterprise and Stargate. Hard pass on any of the new stuff. Ridiculous female led woke trash are a waste of time.
StarGate SG1 was so fucking great. I loved it for 5 seasons. Then Jonas the scientologist and what the fuck ever.
Did you ever see shows called Seaquest, Earth 2, Alien Nation, Space: Above and Beyond. There were so many in the late 80s to mid-90s that even when they were bad they were still a guilty pleasure.
I still vividly remember the early preview commercials for Space Above and Beyond with R Lee Ermey screaming at the clone dude, probably more than anything I remember about the show itself.
"YOUR DEAD. YOUR ENTIRE SQUAD IS DEAD. AND IT'S YOUR FAULT!"
It was another scifi like Firefly that was cancelled way too soon, after Fox kept shuffling it around making it hard to find an audience. Fuck Fox.
SeaQuest DSV really got my imagination going wild and I thought we'd have real underwater cities in the future. Those memories laid dormant until I played Subnautica which brought some of that feeling back.
Alien Nation was based on the movie. I liked the TV show more but it's pretty dated today. I remember they had some joke about Joycelyn Elders encouraging masturbation. Political humor LeL.
If fox had the balls to follow through on anything that wasn't 'hot blondes fucking pretty men', so many good shows would have lasted long enough to still have a strong audience.
Shoutout for Babylon 5.
I just saw Candace Bergen in one of those shows. I could only handle 10 minutes of it.
Lemme guess, she was an overbearing liberal bitch who was smugly right about everything despite being completely wrong in real world terms?
Every single character would announce what they did for a living in each conversation. Not subtly either.
It was also fairly obvious the writers didn't know what any of these jobs actually did. So each conversation was announcing their job, and how they would help/fall in love with the main character. Every guy was somehow in love with her.
This sounds awful. What the fuck was it? That bookclub movie attempting to recreate magic like First Wives Club and Steel Magnolias?
Aurora Teagarden. It's a show. I had to look it up.
Look for stuff from the 80’s and earlier. There’s lots of good shows and movies that you’ve probably never seen.
Between cable, cheap cinemas, and video stores, most likely not. I've watched a shit tonne of things on latenight television too.
Steer clear of Turkish soap operas though.
The one that was like 150 episodes about the founding of the country had my parents mezmerized and I had to download the extra-legal episodes with subs from exta-legal sites for my parents because Netflix wasn't getting them fast enough. lol.
