Eastern Orthodoxy aside because I'm not very familiar with it, fucking Mormons seem to be in the best shape societally and they're supposed to be the extra-dumb new-age Christians that everyone makes fun of (them and jehovah's witnesses). Kneejerk reaction I'd attribute whatever is going on there to the classic Republican grift more so than Mormons specifically. Red-dominated states don't have lunatics raving their streets but that doesn't mean the politicians aren't still vampirizing us due to our complacence. Plenty of red states have high degrees of corruption and stagnation because of them.
Mormon policies and interactions should be framed by their intense antipathy for the United States Government. I wouldn't be surprised if many of their politicians are secret accelerationists.
Mormons are the type of folks that continue doing what they're doing, but follow the rules. They got a temple in East Germany, and announced one in Russia while the war in Ukraine was being declared. They will declare the sin, and help the sinner.

Let me correct you on a point. One cannot be a good Catholic while in rebellion. There is no "establishment church", there's only the Church.
