Evidently the victimhood is so powerful that they even refuse healing.

I had a deaf character in one game. I made sure the DM knew that nothing short of a regeneration spell would heal the damage she had taken to [her] eardrums that caused her to be deaf (backstory). Even though the party tried (against her wishes twice) to restore her hearing I said “no effect” to the spells and thankfully the DM backed me up. She was still deaf, and she got pissed at them for doing something to ‘help’ her that she hadn’t asked for or even wanted.

TBF, it's SOME deaf people who are like that. A friend of mine lost his hearing due to an infection when he was a young kid. He got one of those cochlear implants as soon as he was able, and has never had one second of regret. Batshit insane "community."

Similar arguments are made about people with Downs. That is, selective abortion is genociding Downs people. Today in Europe almost all Downs pregnancies are aborted. In the US it's like 2/3 of all Downs pregnancies aborted.

Probably because society has been designed to exclusively cater to the disabled while discarding the whole.

The tyranny of the intolerant minority. They keep pushing until the majority either rises up or gets wiped out.

Basically describes the cycle of communism (via coalition of the fringes) into fascism (the reactionary correction by the majority).

At that point, I'd find another table.

The DM and the player both sound like massive tools.

"Oh, I'm going to larp as a deaf person because that's so quirky and representative teehee"

"Hey Lashondaqwenta, the party pooled together to spring you a regeneration to fix your hearing!"

"Fuck you and your ableist bullshit, DM back me up!"

"Yup yup, no effect"

Yeah, no. The only time I've ever ruled on stuff like that as a DM is when someone finds a clever application of some real-world thing (like a wizard doing funny physics, or an alchemist doing funny chemistry), or when someone has found a way to blow a hole in my plot because I forgot to account for the munchkins in the group, and even then I'd let the players choose between me fudging the results a bit and just saying "fuck it, you've killed the evil dragon rapeandmurdernax using a clever application of space lube and a ballista bolt, here's his horde, help yourselves, it's improv night after this."

All other times, it's rules as written.

Two words: Metis Garou.

Fucked up, because cursed. Uncurable. And despised. They want to play a special snowflake, there they go. But their character will have to work very hard to be trusted by even its own pack.

Yeah, all my stuff is 30 years old, mostly second ed. But I did see where they were going when they started 3rd ed, and fagged up the Children of Gaia. They're not hippies.

As for the Gypsy crap, they could have just said that "Gypsies are fictional supernatural beings, with whom the Rom (or w/e) get confused (just like with everything else in the WoD.)

I read one page of the post-apocalypse newWoD book (Forsaken?) and puke-noped right the hell out. Meanwhile, the second edition main book grabbed me right by the tits, an instant buy.

Just create a situation where the militantly deaf character gets everyone killed.

A mermaid-ish creature lures the party, and the Person of Deafness resists.

Little did the Deafag know, the lure was to save them, and those that were charmed avoid a brutal death by a soul-devouring creature, making resurection impossible for the SJW character

I would rollplay that my character doesn't trust her to be able to run perception checks to keep my character alive and backstabbed her at some point in a "It's either you or me" situation. And then likely found a new group lol
