Basically, he's getting a 100k fine for comparing the rioters on the other side that you don't like to the rioters on your side that you do like. Sounds like something out of China or the Soviet Union

Exactly

The really embarrassing part is the attached 'message' to this which proudly proclaims that anyone who questions the narrative is a domestic terrorist.

That is a major injustice. He made a factual statement. The summer of love had way more destruction and violence. Why else would the excuse of “they gave insurance” come up

This $100k fine only proves it

Why does a football team need a political position on anything? And isn't Congress about to drag Snyder and company to a congressional inquiry? No fucking statement about that one though. The fucking hypocrites.

In the total state, everything always needs to glorify the power of the regime.

More people should follow Auron MacIntyre for a crash course in the mechanics of power.

Perhaps unpopular, but he had to know this was going to happen when he said it. I know when I spoke up during my DIE training I expected to be fired.

If your fine is way more than the median household makes in a year, you're going to be OK. I hope he realizes he has "fuck you" money and can say what he wants. Sadly most people who could have "fuck you" money never realize they do in fact have it, which is why you see multi-millionaires make such cowardly statements after they've committed wrongthink.

It may be unpopular but it's true. It's lile telling women to watch how they dress in bad neighborhoods. Yes you should be able to walk naked through anywhere and not get assualted but life isn't like that and not preparing for reality is dumb.

Sadly, he doesn't seem to know the game. He apologized.

Maybe. Then again many millionaires who would bend the knee have the desire to keep making $ and will reject anything that prevents them from it, including their conscience. You see it all the time--ethics taking a back seat to profits.

True but if it was the case that he just wanted to make money he wouldn't have said anything at all, or simply read from the approved script.

That he deviated from the script at all suggests he still has some integrity

On this note:

I have just entered a high-powered industry. For sure, one of the ONLY things that could get me fired at this stage is speaking out at a DIE training. The other thing is speaking out against woke idiocy at a work outing. Everyone else is allowed to whine about a lack of non-gendered bathrooms or how people aren't using the right woke words (like partner instead of boyfriend/girlfriend, despite this being VERY confusing). I have to just grin and nod, despite this kind of thing happening in a friendly, alcohol-infused environment, where one might be otherwise expected to be able to at least offer an authentic opinion. It is highly toxic and sickening.

This is correct, but this is exactly what free speech is supposed to protect from: Retaliation from more powerful entities than yourself.

Free and fair

Safe and effective

Bullshit and lies.

His comments were proven to be true, strictly by the retardedly one sided reaction.

"How can we launder money to our pet cause today and look like badasses to hide our shitty behavior?"

Stating facts is now punishable by fines. Fuck the NFL anyway.

It's the truth! Scary how the truth costs 100k.

You're not allowed to go against THE MESSAGE.

Employees of a woke corporation must not express opinions counter to the left/woke narrative because it contradicts the current PR scheme.

These people have a matter of conscience: bend the knee to your boss and keep your mouth shut in public or quit, lose your big-bucks, high-prestige job and everything that flows from that, and have a conscience you can more easily live with.

I can see which decision most mortals would make, but that's no excuse for moral cowardice.

P.S.

It occurs to me that this extortion is what mainly keeps woke/leftism as the dominant political force. Another reason why woke corporate PR is flat-out evil along with the ideology it clothes itself in.

It's weird as there's way more shady shit going on right now in the nfl, namely cleveland's failing attempts at shedding baker's salary by trying to push him onto the injured reserve despite videos showing him throwing a football recently. But hey, commies gotta coom.

Dude should've said 'fuck you, fire me.'

He obviously has enough money that he never needs to work again if he doesn't want to.
