She looks like a lunch lady LMAO
To me she looks like she has Down and fetal alcohol syndrome all at the same time.
HoW dArE yOu!?
Pretty much standard for Cadians, at this point.
All Games Workshop females look like that. Truly atrocious faces. Not that the male faces are much better.
naw dude, I thought that too but turns out the models are just English.
10/10 in bongland indeed.
So, a brutal dictator?
That's a woman? Looks like Baron Harkonnen.
Why are speakers hardwired into his nipples?
The better question is why aren't they to yours?
Yeah you're right. I think I'm just intimidated by the sheer glory of what peek male body performance looks like.
Lord Castallen Creed was a hero of the imperium, the planet fell before he did. Now GW has replaced him with his daughter and made point of saying it wasnt nepotism that got her that position but her own ruthlessness and her raw talent.... except her complete absence from the lore until now..m Dont know what, but I've given GW a lot of leeway but this announcement irritated me. I dont know how many years I've waited for new Inperial guard plastics and this is what they give us?!
While GW was a bit more resilient it was bound to do this crap. This is just the start, people will ignore it at first as a small change and then prepare for overdrive on all woke crap.
I could have sworn people wanted more Sisters of Battle FOR A LONG TIME, but now there's not even any hope for decent stuff with them anymore, and the woke execs would rather have female SPESS MURREEENS.
I expect rule mergers for both armies soon.
Which sucks before the Sister of Battle are an army that reward smart thinking, have interesting lore behind them, and have an organ that shoots missiles!
Hard to fathom a hobby that relies so much on kitbashing would be so slavishly beholden to one company's overpriced plastic when they could just use a male figurine (or even the older model) and run the game with the statline specified by rules.
On the surface, I agree. However, while I do think GW would be OK with subbing an original Creed in for his daughter, for a lot of 40k tournaments GW will flat-out ban people if you show up with 3rd party or custom models, and a number of GW stores will kick you out if you try to play with non-official models.
Yes, but this is a problem with the whole dynamic of the 40k fanbase. Manbabies that are passive and have accepted decades of abuse by GW have created this problem. If the fanbase were more active stewards of the 40k product and its direction & events, then they wouldn't be at the mercy of GW's craven behavior.
If they wanted a female special character for the Imperial Guard, they should have just made a new character instead of sponging off Creed's reputation. Cadia's not the kind of place for hereditary titles - Creed himself was a war orphan - so even if Creed did have a child they would be no more likely than the billions of other Cadians to hold rank.
When japanese do gender swaps for their figurines.. generally they are sexy females lol. Like a sexy female jason vorhees.
...With saberface,
This "female" looks like its come straight out of the 'Thin your paints' video.

Uhh... she's the daughter of a canonically either dead or in stasis dude. That's not gender swapping. I'm not saying this isn't probably virtue signalling but it's not gender swapping.
