Once again western media lies while shilling for Ukraine. The VOG-25P cannot detonate without being fired from a grenade launcher. It is drop safe to 3 m, and has an arming distance of 10-40m. (archive.ph)

'Isolate Russia, isolate its culture and figures, because everything it does to preserve the image of a civilized state is in fact the same as the explosive in the piano.'

I'm always suspicious when something like this supposedly happens to someone who just, coincidentally, knows to tell the rest of the world precisely what it should do, and it is something that the Empire of Lies was already attempting to do.

Because they're "anti-racist", y'know. Just like they're "pro-democracy" by overthrowing governments. They're "pro-free speech" while threatening people who use the letter Z. And they support human rights by blowing up Afghan children and cheering Ukraine shelling civilian areas of Donetsk.

I am not at all persuaded that Vladimir Putin is a greater monster than Western leaders. Even if they're equally bad, the Western leaders have hypocrisy as their state religion, which makes it all the more disgusting.

They're closer to Donetsk city so I think that's why they are always shelling that rather than Luhansk.

Or this, on Rassiya 1 (you should know what it is by now, somehow you didn't): https://twitter.com/NotWoofers/status/1524831309746647040 - where they didn't even bother to remove an Ukrainian watermark and the TB2 'HUD' (not literally HUD, it's a drone) while stealing the footage to show as theirs.

It's like how Putin personally showed the most famous Apache guncam video of them all to the clueless demented boomer Oliver Stone as "a Russian video from Syria" and creatively narrated it with dumb bullshit. They don't even try, because they just don't care, at all. "Empire of lies", eh?

I'll gladly take your word for it, but what exactly is the propaganda here? Did the Ukrainians not try and fail to retake Snake Island?

"Empire of lies", eh?

It's the Empire of Lies that has nearly the entire West under its spell, and which is driving us ever closer to nuclear war, not Russia's quite pathetic attempts at propaganda.

Ukrainians bombed the shit out of the island (and the sea, as you could also see with some Russian Raptor patrol boats being shown hit in this video), didn't even try to retake it. Russians just sent a new garrison after everyone died, some ships were seen burning on sat photos again but no details and videos released yet.

No one is even "shelling civilian areas of Donetsk". They just held a May 9 parade there, there's nothing happening there to this degree.

Now, it's actually super easy (and common) to make a VOG into a booby trap. But want to see some actual shameless lies? Try for example "harmless military flares" for thermite firebombing via cluster rockets: https://twitter.com/mfa_russia/status/1507406840702947328

No one is even "shelling civilian areas of Donetsk".

Not only are they doing that, they're using cluster munitions.

I am given to understand that these are Very Bad or Very Good depending on whether rival of the West or Western puppet uses them.

But want to see some actual shameless lies? Try for example "harmless military flares" for thermite firebombing via cluster rockets

I'd say that they look like tracer ammunition, based on my near-zero military knowledge, not firebombs.

But are they phosphorous bombs or not, as the Ukrainians claimed? Are they lying, or not?

Anyway, I never even suggested that the Russians couldn't or wouldn't lie. They just cannot lie so shamelessly as the West, because any lie (and some truths) are immediately challenged by the West's massive propaganda apparat.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 3 ▼
– SupremeReader 3 points 4 years ago +3 / -0

tracer ammunition

Actually lmao

It's thermite firebombing just as I told you, and you can compare it with any thermite firebombing videos and photos. Thermite somehow isn't a household name unlike WP because the West pretty much only uses thermite demolition charges. Soviets decided to use it instead of WP and it stayed. They also classify FAE weapons as flame weapons, so FAE launchers are "rocket flamethrowers".

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 7 ▼
– AntonioOfVenice 7 points 4 years ago +7 / -0

Actually lmao

Yes, I have no idea, like I said. But most of all, I know that whenever there is a war, we get overloaded with propaganda.

Thermite somehow isn't a household name unlike WP because the West pretty much only uses thermite demolition charges.

Me no know the difference.

But can you address the fact that cluster munitions are either Very Good or Very Bad depending on whether a rival or puppet of the West is using them? Certainly quite curious. It's almost as if these alleged claims about supposed principles that the West has (except for castrating kids) are all lies, and the West is an evil empire.

You think I have some sort of special love for Russia. No. I just hate the thoroughly evil, absolute lowlifes who rule over me, those who spend 30 years provoking a conflict (while wrecking one country after another), and when the other side finally responds - play wounded innocence "Wh...what, invading a SOVEREIGN country!!!? That's our job!" (Poland is cool though, though very wrong here. Not Russia, but America is the greatest threat.)

Thermite burns orangeish-red, magnesium burns white. Those are magnesium flares.

It's a completely obvious thermite attack and don't even try playing dumb as they did. Russian illumination flares use parachutes just like in the West, obviously glare very brightly, aren't dropped in hundreds. If it's counterameasures flares they're launched sideways in batches of a few and don't freefall in one direction, against just like in the West. That's not how it works at all.

They're 9M22S submunitions, which have a magnesium casing. They've been using them all over the place, including places they don't make sense. Like at the Mariupol steel plant. If there's anything that can handle being shot with burning metal, it's a steel plant.

I saw the inside of a piano in a Tom and Jerry cartoon once when I was like 8, but I see you're an expert on the subject of pianos so good for you.

I referred to the the title "The VOG-25P cannot detonate without being fired from a grenade launcher. It is drop safe to 3 m, and has an arming distance of 10-40m." which had nothing about pianos but only false assertions about grenades. You can turn any small munition into a hand grenade or a booby trap and it's not even hard if you just have basic parts.

VOG-25's are caseless, you inbred downie. If you actually read what I linked in my first comment you would know that by now.

Here let me help you:

In the VOG-25 shot, the chamber for the propellant powder charge was located directly on the grenade. As a result, there was no need for such an operation as extraction of a spent cartridge case. After the shot, the shooter should only take out another grenade from the bag, insert it into the muzzle of the grenade launcher and push it until it stops in the barrel.

Linking to some Fudd on Gunbroker is top tier retardation. "I know what I got!"

There is one idiot who insisted Egyptians were Caucasians, but the image he used showed Egyptians to the right of Jews, who were in the Mediterranean and right of it of the Caucasian DNA graph. Hahahaha

But I do know that it makes no military sense or any sense to try to put an IED into some girl's piano. Then again, the alleged killings at Bucha also made no sense. And neither does the constant shelling of Donetsk (which however makes more sense as no one in the Empire of Lies cares about anything bad that Ukraine does).

Because they were preparing as a trap to Ukrainian soldiers for when they had to fight inside the city. There are also examples and reports from north of Kiev and the city around it of them booby-trapping closets, pantries and other places. So when the Ukrainian soldier opens the door, or triggers the trap they are either killed or maimed.

But, the killing of civilians by Russians makes sense. We just need to look at how they wage war(and the incident with their equipment, remember Kursk?) to see why they would act the way they do. If they don't care too much about the lives of their own soldiers, why would they care about the lives of civilians of the "enemy"?

Urban warfare is such a terrible thing.

If they don't care too much about the lives of their own soldiers, why would they care about the lives of civilians of the "enemy"?

No one cares about his own soldiers unless he is made to care. I don't think this is as much a case of 'caring' or not 'caring'.

He will have to care about the civilians of the enemy, because he hopes to rule this territory. Moreover, it is used as propaganda against him. The very light hand in the early days of the war either shows not wanting to kill even enemy soldiers (in the hopes they would surrender), or extreme military incompetence.

It is, it really is.

NATO goes to great lengths to try and recover a soldier. Because the idea that when you are hurt or die, that someone will at least try to get to you is a great morale booster.

extreme military incompetence.

That's pretty much what Russia is doing. After seeing Russia in Georgia and now in Ukraine, extreme incompetence is what rules. The Moskva sinking, for instance, it was marred in incompetence, bad maintenance, and much more. https://twitter.com/GrangerE04117/status/1522643831736332288

We can even see on the tires of their trucks, they are still using tires built during the soviet union or shortly after it fell(before they could replace the forms). Worse still, they were even using like 3 or 4 nuts in a wheel that should take at least 8 or more. https://twitter.com/TrentTelenko/status/1521182849000423426

What sense do you seek from average Russian soldier? Average Russian soldier would shoot their own wife if that was an order (and yes, I heard that from said average Russian officer). Booby trapping a piano for lulz? That's just being creative. And that's given that I personally don't believe that story all that much.

And neither does the constant shelling of Donetsk

Yeah, Donetsk so constantly shelled it has roads more intact than any unshelled city in Russia, let alone houses (before the war, that is).

Empty bragging, I assume. My soldiers are SO obedient, they'd shoot their own mother if I gave them the order. They're not exactly Prussians. And this would not explain the poor morale that is frequently asserted about Russians right now.

Typical Russians don't act in self-benefit, they act in dragging everyone else down. Trust me, I am very familiar with this routine having grown up in it.

Empty bragging, I assume.

Nope, a very real case when that came to deal with protests in Far East when Putin decided it was time to change the local duke for someone from his security.

My soldiers are SO obedient, they'd shoot their own mother if I gave them the order.

No, he was talking about himself above all, and outright warning (threatening if you wish) his wife not to appear on said protests because that would be the consequence. He could get an order to shoot and he would shoot, even if above the head.

And this would not explain the poor morale that is frequently asserted about Russians right now.

Does it need to? If anything, there's a myriad reasons for poor morale for Russian troops self-evident to anyone who bothered to follow this war.
