Prompt: "Pedophiles are bad and their predatory actions should be hindered where reasonably possible."
Response: "They're going to kill us! Not that, aheh, I'm a pedo or anything, eheh. But they're going to kill us! Help!"
Then ask yourself, if you were to see this person in, say, a movie, would your conclusion be that this the response of the innocent person, or the poorly-disguised villain?
