Nobody on the bottom half of the poltical compass will ever gain political power in anything but the most exceptional circumstances, for more than a brief moment, for the simple reason that it is impossible to hold onto any sort of power without oppressing people.

Libertarians think the “good times” last forever. Meanwhile, we’re firmly in the “weak men” phase speeding into “hard times”.
