Don’t get me wrong good QA is hard to find. But there are a lot of crap and mediocre ones too. Typically good ones don’t stay contractors or don’t stay QA. But the sign of a bad one is one who is stirring up trouble.
They do. Designers as well. Especially the ones who are smart enough to know that their job as qa is quality assurance, and not to tell the developers how much better the game would be if they would implement their ideas.
Honestly its a bit long, but the tl;dr version of it is, they make it needlessly complicated to display pronouns in official work communication spaces and dont want to make it easy because it might make some people feel pressure to show their pronouns.
