Don't think it's really a beef. idubbz made himself look worse in his own video. In Sam's he just seemed like normal, awkward dude thrust into group of friends with inside jokes. In his video it was apparent he didn't just want to chill and hang out with Sam, instead wanted to grill him to get to know the "real" Sam. Which ironically prevented him from getting to know the real Sam

That's definitely what it sounds like. IIRC there was no evidence of any struggle or violence in his room. Either he collapsed or simply tripped and fell at the wrong time and busted his head wide open on something, maybe a bedpost or a dresser corner.
