By this definition I’m an extremist. Is this serious?

Poe's law needs to be rewritten that one cannot parody the governing party line as it is itself indistinguishable from a parody of the most extreme progressives.

It's NOT REAL. The real one: https://www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/National-Strategy-for-Countering-Domestic-Terrorism.pdf (you had link on the fake image: https://archive.is/S96WR and yet you didn't check, why?)

I didn't go looking for the real thing because it is irrelevant to the fact that parody is indistinguishable from actual leftist talking points. I've seen variations on all these points sincerely pushed by progressives, so putting it all together in one place is hardly inconceivable. We are talking about the people who call being timely white supremacy.

A provision of Federal law defines “domestic terrorism” as “activities that involve acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State; appear to be intended to intimidate or coerce a civilian population, to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion, or to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States.”

So the Waukesha parade killer. Got it.

It's not real.

The real one talks about "equity" and other horrific ideas, though.

Aversion to literal poison. Is far right. I'm not even talking about shit like post-modernism and porn, which are bad for your soul/mind.
But actual fucking poison that kills you. Aversion to substances that make you crazy and stupid and that ruin your organs and lead to your death.

Aversion to literal poison. Is far right.

Yeah that's not the best starting point for anyone to make when trying to argue against something but then I don't expect the chucklefucks who came up with this to be the sharpest spoon in the shed.

Check the archive link in the image.

Under Federal law, “domestic terrorism” is defined as “activities that involve acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State; appear to be intended to intimidate or coerce a civilian population, to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion, or to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States.”

So that means according to their own definition the US Gov is committing domestic terrorism.

The review was rooted in an expert assessment of the domestic terrorism threat provided by the intelligence and law enforcement communities. An unclassified summary of that assessment was released in March so the public could see the key findings. It found that the two most lethal elements of today’s domestic terrorism threat are (1) racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists who advocate for the superiority of the white race

Ooo, so close. Guess that mostly peaceful parade accident doesn't count as it was committed by a black supremacist which the US Gov are now signing off on as being a racist symbol ok.

To develop a government-wide strategy to counter domestic terrorists, the Biden Administration consulted extensively with a wide array of experts across the U.S. Government as well as with leaders in Congress, state and local governments, academia, civil society, religious communities, and foreign governments. Throughout the process, we embraced the protection of civil rights and civil liberties as a national security imperative.

Emphasis actually theirs. That's how it appears in the link if you follow the archive. My thoughts on that part:

[x] Doubt

Entire thing may as well be someone rolling their face across the keyboard for as drawn out as the release makes things.

Every component of the government has a role to play in rooting out racism and bigotry and advancing equity for all Americans.

Again, embolded in the actual link.

First off, going to win little to no money betting those definitions of "racism and bigotry" will be applied equally. Why? Because of the next part:

equity for all Americans

Emphasis mine this time.

It's not about equality, although I'm sure nobody here would be surprised to learn that, as they even use the very talking points that get repeatedly called out regarding why these countless bullshit plans are poorly designed [intentionally].

The U.S. Government is committed to strengthening trust in American democracy and its ability to deliver for the American people

Bit of an odd choice to just embolden those three words but whatever, this was likely typed up by someone with the critical thinking of a fax machine.

If that's the goal however it sure as shit isn't working. Then again, that in of itself would be a more likely goal of claiming to be doing such a thing while actively fanning the flames of the very problems being talked about because no dragonslayer ever wants there to be no dragons in the end because they go out of business if that happens.

"Oh no, another bad thing happened, better lock down all public transport and do various other things despite it having no actual connection to whatever did happen because we received an anonymous tip from ourselves someone that is totes legit.

Anyone else get the impression that "strengthening trust in American democracy" will come about by carting anyone who expresses scepticism off to the camps?

Any time 'democracy' is mentioned (always by the kleptocratic, oligarchic ruling class), it's an attempt to push something dubious at best.

Probably not. Camps cost money to keep running and if there is no outside sponsorship ala the US prison system then a bullet at muzzle velocity is far cheaper.

This is a more likely scenario post "revolution" however. Humming and hawing while dragging their feet is the more likely course of action beforehand.

When you believe 99% of the world is either a 'shill', 'puppet' or actively trying to kill you, you may want to re-examine your assumptions.
