How it will be in 6 months: "We're losing viewers, people just aren't interested in our mediocre game play, bitchy grating voices, and DRAAMMMAAAAAA. Time to show some tits!"
So it's not just me.
There's this voice that female amateur broadcasters all use, and that's why they never go on to be actual pros.
That's not their real voice. Its some weird one they use because some idiot told them it'll work better, probably the same idiot who told Kamala and Hillary to cackle at the worst possible times.
Literally any voice would be better. ANY voice.
"I will now commentate this LoL game in the manner of a hentai magical girl: KYAAAAAANYAAAA NOOOOOOOO!! STOP!! THEY PICKED SHAKOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH!" would be better.
"I slept in, so fuck it, you get frog-croaking me now. Some bitch-ass thought rushing the point was a good idea without their tank, fucking DPS worthless shitrags... Goddamn I need a coffee." would be better.
They have infinite voices and characters to choose from, and they always go with bitchy-grating.
It's gotta be because they're trying to imitate men and they just can't since their voices are an octave higher.
No male streamers who talk like that are also annoying as fuck
They're also trying to imitate men.
Oh, I hate most women, but on a case-by-case basis. Just like with men. Most people in general are fucking awful, lazy, and generally too stupid to tolerate simply because its easier for them to exist without trying to be civil.
"Self identify" as a woman, win everything.
Of course the comments critical of that move get locked or removed while the ones praising the "equality" of a segregated league can stay.
Note that there are no male only events in CS. Any women who wish to can play the open circuit, ESEA, FPL etc. and get themselves noticed - provided that they're dedicated and good enough, which is exactly the crux which must not be named.
As Theimpossible should mention is most likely women trying to move money to other women that do not deserve it. They are using real life cheat codes to make things easier for them.
I don't need to say it if you already did!
Anyone want to look up who runs ESL?
Didn't the Pro League kill all of their competitors off, so they're effectively a monopoly?
Just like real life... girls are average, while boys have more outliers (dumbasses and savant genius), top male gamers are usually better than top female gamers.
Even the streaming scene, males out perform females. I think we all know at least 10+ male gamer friends that are bettee than you, but you might know 1 female friend that is better than you.
But yeah.. gaming needs speed, accuracy, good hand eye coordination, rationality/calmness, and aggressiveness. All traits of being a hunter.
But do they have bikinis? I hear that greatly increases skill at the game, it's why all the highest-earning female streamers do it. And if you're the highest-earning, you must be good at the games!
It is hilarious. Just like life.. men will only have worth if they have skill, merit or ability. While women can skate on by with titties.
Not sure why there are so many simps. Im a lewd ass guy, but i play with sex mods in games instead of simping out to female content makers.
Id have way more respect for these thot streamers if they fought against wokeness and feminism. I dont think ive seen or heard of thot streamers or thot cosplayers fighting against the desexualization of video games. Making female chars have smaller busts, covering them up, making them frumpy and ugly.
At this rate... thot cosplayers wont have sexy characters to cosplay as in a decade lolol.
You answered your own question. Thots view sexy video game characters as competition.
Lol, "FORALL" means for some apparently. Although some enterprising dude is going to win the money.
Ignoring the admittance of defeat on the gender equality front, I have a few questions in regards to "women-only" eSports:
a) What is it in response to?
b) Based on what evidence from who?
c) Is this temporary or permanent? Even if the problem it is meant to solve eventually gets solved?
d) Will this be an equal T1 league or a feeder league?
e) Will there be restrictions limiting them from existing feeder leagues?
Purely marketing / $$$. Corporations sponsor these types of initiatives and if you take away the discriminatory action, so does the money (i.e. it won't be on the table for non-segregated initiatives).
Nothing, it's ESL trying to make a buck off of the current equity / discrimination grift and the absolute retardation of the woke playerbase.
Dude trust the Science bro.
Temporary in the sense of "whenever it stops being profitable to the company" I'd say. As for the ideologues, the fact that we exist is what they object to, so to them it's very much permanent.
I have no idea where it's going to be put at structurally. 500k prize money is up there with the big leagues of the open circuit. The fact that it's women only means it's worthless as far as real talent scouting is concerned, because if they were good enough to legitimately play at the top they'd have no issue keeping up in ESEA, FPL etc.
Not practically, since none of those players will be anywhere good enough to be in one of them to begin with (or else they'd be in those feeder leagues).
Well we have sports segregation so they don't get smoked, so why not? Just waiting for the "transexual" women to come in and sweep the gold though.
My thoughts on the matter is that they are pushing female games in order to push for females in sports. No one thinks they will get their money worth and I doubt the event will increase the diversity of the shooting games in a meaningful way.
I would not be surprised that this is being pushed thru diversity and inclusion departments, that are money burners with no metrics for increasing eficiency or profitability so there is no incentive to be a good investment.
If this was to come thru an investment/ marketing/ innovation department then they would expect to have a net benefit from their investment.
On a different note, I see that in the comments they are saying that there are female pros in Valorant. Has anyone looked in to that? Is there like a large number of high tier Valorant female players?
Is Valorant even making any progress as an esport? Not seeing much about it, but I might just be out of the loop.
@Valorant, 8 March 2021.
Ahh, so it is dead then as an esport.
It's like Rocket League, low audience figures propped up by people farming Twitch Drops.
Not sure, but I did like the game when it came out, a lot more then Overwatch. I was expecting it to do well.
A lot of CSGO players moved to Valorant, but idk much about their pro scene.
