Frankly the fact that Skype made username a primary key is funnier.
Sony did the same kind of thing with the PS3 I believe, they had to overhaul everything to allow people to change usernames.

That’s a lot of things tossed aside and new competing products rebought all over a username. Which you could create a new user account on your pc and use for all future purchases. And surely they did not have so much software tied to an account that it’s cheaper to switch the whole family to 2 separate eco systems. If the new MacBooks are as powerful as they claim that’s cool, but the new pros also have a baseline $1000 price increase over the previous intel MacBook pros. And chances are they will still be using office for Mac.
