When you look at the differences between the American made sub and the French sub, its obvious why Australia went with the American sub. How the fuck France even sold those lemons to Australia is beyond the pale. US subs cost half as much, have 40 tubes for cruise missiles and can run for 30 years without refueling, while the French subs cost twice as much, requires fueling every 80 days and has no tubes for cruise missiles.
Australia is canceling their order for French diesel subs in favor of US nuclear subs, so France is pissed off they won't get the billions of dollars they would have been paid.
