Many states allow personal transfers of firearms meaning you don't have to buy from an FFL or have a background check done. Finding a personal sale on a gun auction site in a free(ish) state is probably the least scrutiny, easiest method other than asking around the hood. Most gun shows all run background checks so don't count on that "loophole", but parking lot deals are a thing.

The people saying simple phrases get a dopamine hit in saying / writing them. Normal people have realized there's no point in engaging with them - they're only there to dominate, you're not to learn something interesting, you're not going to change their mind via points or argument.
So normal people go "why would I choose to subject myself to this?" and leave.
