Doctors Risk Losing License for Opinion on Covid Vaccination Deemed ‘Misinformation’ by Certifying Boards (archive.md)

In a joint statement, the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Family Medicine, and the American Board of Pediatrics issued a statement on Sept. 9 in support of the Federation of State Medical Board’s (FSMB) position in disciplining doctors—which includes revoking or suspending medical licenses—who provide COVID-19 vaccine information that the board does not view as factual and approved by consensus.

That's not how science or medicine works at all.
They are not fields where "consensus* means "unequivocally true." At one point in history, Scientific consensus was that Earth was the center of the universe — it didn't make it true. What kind of absolute retards are running these boards at this point? It's pure insanity.
They're already dealing with staffing shortages due to mandate decisions causing a ton of people to walk off the job or get fired. Now they want to revoke the licenses of people who simply disagree with them? All because Doctors are making sure they do their due diligence with regards to an experimental gene therapy injection, or who express justifiable concerns about the inimical effects of the vaccine that media and politicians seem intent on obfuscating in order to get people to conform by force?
These people are the real pandemic. A pestiferous tumor on society, infecting and rotting it from the inside. They're feckless retards who serve the interests of venal politicians and greedy pharmaceutical companies. It's mind-blowing that these assholes feel that people need nannies to protect them from themselves. Their entire belief system is completely antithetical to freedom and the ethics of medicine.
At this point, the authoritarianism and tyrannical approach to force people into subjugation and intellectual conformity surpasses that of many totalitarian regimes.
They're completely trying to remove people's autonomy at every conceivable level of our society while hiding behind a transparent veneer of "kindness and caring."

To quote from Age of False Innocence by Blind Guardian

Far too long I have played with hellfire. And science has turned into madness. But I should have taken it higher. So I feel, so I feel. Like Judas must have felt before. That Wednesday night near by the tree.

This is no longer science by any stretch of the imagination. This is full blown religious zealotry.

Yup.
A cult of virtue chasing lunatics, who use the internet and social media as a tool similar to therapy in order to vent their crippling depression and exert control over others because they lack any control over themselves and their own lives.
They use a thin veneer of righteousness to elevate themselves above others in order to validate their own opinions and views while simultaneously dehumanizing and denigrating those who disagree with them to reinforce their illusory superiority in their own mind.
They're a very loud and outspoken group of ideological fanatics hellbent on making everyone feel as miserable as they do. These people do not care about the truth. They just want to fight online — that's it.
Maybe they have no friends? Maybe their parents never hugged them enough? I genuinely have no idea. But the simple fact is that no matter what you present to them, even if it's absolute scientific data showing a very clear result, they will always find some way to dismiss it until the common consensus of their echo chamber supports it. Period.

and approved by consensus.

Which consensus? The March 2020 one? December 2020? May 2021?

How do these guys find time to treat anybody when they have to focus so much on maintaining and updating a consensus...?

Why the fellow people that pharmaceutical companies placed on their boards, of course!
The consensus of themselves and their little bought and paid for group!
It's a truly ridiculous statement for them to make, because as we're seeing by huge amounts of people being laid off or quitting because of vaxx mandates, their "consensus" doesn't seem particularly whole.
Especially when the most vaccine hesitant group is PhD's themselves.

In true post-modernist fashion, they've redefined "consensus" from "General agreement about some issue within a group or in public opinion." to "General agreement about some issue within a group of people who agree with me"

Or, perhaps - and more worryingly - they've stopped considered people who disagree to be people - and therefore part of the public - at all.

Just a reminder the American Board of Pediatrics is funded by Pfizer, and when that was pointed out they just deleted it off their website.

The fact that they are allowed to have any say over Doctors opinions is absolutely illegal and unethical.

I don't see how this can be anything other than them attempting to remove people's ability to provide informed consent when making their decision on vaccination.

You cannot trust your own doctor to be honest with you anymore

My Doctor has been brutally honest and told me to stay the hell away from it. We even sat and talked about it for a good 30 minutes and lamented how dumb so many people have become.
It's the people above them that are silencing them and threatening their livelihoods if they don't conform. Although, I have no doubt that there most certainly are Doctors who are as dishonest as you suggest.
I had one such situation in my family where the Doctor made it abundantly clear.

Any doctor that refers to the mRNA therapy as a vaccine is committing medical malpractice. I will die on this hill, there is no relationship between injecting yourself with a virus to create antibodies and trying to program your RNA to make spike proteins. This does not function as any other defined vaccine.

Which is precisely why they changed the definition of "vaccine" in order to accommodate such a ridiculous notion.
I understand using it as a colloquial term, but they should still be honest about what it is and what they're asking people to do, which is to participate in a Phase 3 Human Trial for an "Experimental Gene Therapy Treatment."

Even if the vaccine is probably safe, I don't see how anyone could think it's safe after seeing authoritarian certifying boards run by Pfizer bullying doctors into silence like this? Isn't it odd they do that? Does nobody have any common sense or ability to think logically?

An individual's "sincerely held" religious belief does not have to be part of a particular religions position on the vaccine to be considered a valid reason for exemption from getting it.
As long as you can articulate a well thought and reasonable justification for exactly why you hold your belief and how that relates to you spiritually, you have legal immunity from having to get it. No one else besides you gets to determine what your core beliefs are, nor how deeply you believe in them.
So I would very much recommend looking at some other people's exemption letter examples, then doing as much research as you can, write it up, and submit it for whatever you may need it for.
If after that anyone tries to retaliate against you, fire you, deny you service, you are well within your rights to sue them for discrimination. You can even look deeper into the topic over to verify these statements — should you be so inclined.
You're not required to attend a church or any other such thing for this stipulation to apply to you. In the US we have freedom of religion. This means a religion can essentially be anything that you can adequately explain that you practice and in which you hold your core beliefs. It does not state we have "freedom to specific religions approved by authoritative sources."
I don't know if this will help you with your situation, but I can at least promise you that you are protected by the law and you can sue the shit out of anyone who violates this as long as you took the time to present your "letter of exemption" to whomever it was that was trying to coerce you into taking the jab.
I hope this help, friend.

I'd also remind physicians that a patient's right to refuse treatment is one of the things most of them swore to honor.

I'm in the middle of studying for step 3 of the boards currently. No one wants to talk about C19 because it can be career suicide.

Exactly. But it doesn't change that almost everyone who isn't a mindless media consumer knows the truth about how the fallacious narrative being promulgated. That's also reflected in the studies that show the most vaccine hesitant group is PhD's.
Hell, you honestly don't even need to know the medicine or that the target antigen for the vaccine has been shown to be a toxic pathogenic protein. The only thing you need to know is history. That alone should elucidate that every single attempt and making a coronavirus vaccine for the last half a century has ended in abject failure where people ended being harmed or becoming more susceptible to viruses found in nature.
I don't understand how these things can be completely lost on people who claim they have everyone's best interest in mind. But therein lies the problem. There's a very large amount of folks who are absolutely obsessed with looking like good people, so they'll push anything that media/big tech/celebrities/etc. push on them through their consumerism habits. They'll never take any meaningful action to actually be good people; instead, they just want to take the path of least resistance to soothe their egos. That's how we get old idioms such as, "the road to hell is paved with good intentions."
If things keep going the way they are, they'll be able to see that with amazing clarity, too. Then they'll stand around completely stupefied, wondering how things ended up the way they are — followed by immediately making any excuses they can to absolve themselves of their role and then pointing the finger everywhere else.

Yep, we just got this message through our system. Sharing "misinformation" on social media? Potential lose your job and license. Sadly the majority of providers are msm idiots who just "follow the professionals."

As you shouldn't. I like my Doctor, and I do believe I found a good one who is as honest as possible. That said, my personal health is not the responsibility of other people; it's my own responsibility.
Taking the time to become as informed as I can, while simultaneously learning the intricacies of the science and medicine involved is something I feel everyone should at least try to do at some level. If only so they can create a list of questions that they would like to ask their Doctor in order to become further educated or to see if they're even competent to begin with.

It's quite likely.
There's no reason that perfectly qualified Doctor's should cease practice just because corrupt pharma owned assholes decided to sell out their morals and ethics.
