This series of events is almost exactly what killed Digg.com. A bunch of power mods got control over the moderation of the site, and there were tolerated and coordinated voting brigades from LittleGreenFootballs.com. It was so bad that I jumped ship to Reddit, cuz you couldn't participate in a decent conversation. (Note that the karma system worked a bit differently - if you were too low, then your comments wouldn't be seen at all, and a down-vote brigade could completely kill your ability to participate.)
In the case of today's reddit.com, the power mods are there, and the admins are all-in on keeping reddit free from controversy, so it's breathing its last breaths. Too bad, cuz I liked reddit, and I feel, right now, the same way I did just before digg died.
I'm glad someone else remembers this. Reddit used to be the best place on the internet it was fucking brilliant. Then Digg had its uprising and died and all the filth and fuckups over at Digg migrated to Reddit and it was all downhill from there. History is repeating itself the same fucktards who destroyed Digg are now destroying Reddit.
To be honest you left it - it didn’t leave you - it was always here - there’s forums I still hang out in from the “old” Internet before corporate interests started corralling people together
There was a ton of posts in there saying, basically, "I came here because of the blackout thinking it would be filled with a bunch of insane conspiracy theorists, but that wasn't the case."
Vatican II was the culmination of the Masonic plan to capture the Catholic church. Here is the Permanent Instruction of the Alta Vendita. Chapters XIV and XV are the most relevant.
Gah, I doubt it's malicious but their "front page" is mostly "spammed" with posts about the subreddit being banned. Hopefully they clean up things when they get a handle on whatever new traffic is coming their way now.
It's not that power jannies control Reddit, it's that Reddit couldn't allow people to congregate on the open web in a growing sub that completely went against the mainstream media's narrative.
Reddit is the first forum-like community to pop up on Google for queries. They can't have anything from NoNewNormal appearing that disrupts the COVID fear-porn hysteria.
It wasn't that the power jannies got the sub banned, it was that the power jannies just pulled a stunt in line with what the Powers That Be wanted. Realistically, Spez could have just ignored the jannies and left the sub alone until their tantrum blew over. But the power jannie trip-out was actually the perfect cover to use to ban the sub, same way that the wanted to get rid of TheDonald for a long time, and I'm pretty sure it was the January 6th protest that gave them the perfect opportunity to do so.
Yeah I clocked out of Reddit for the most part as well. I just remember seeing some people post about various subs/communities getting nuked over it. Oh well.
I'm not sure I'd say that was a good thing, but I was seeing a lot of posts there where all the attention was opening some eyes to the censorship that's going on.
They didn’t cave to snowflakes they caved to an astroturfing campaign.
Did anyone read the announcement they made about it? It’s straight up reads like state propaganda. We Executed the counter revolutionaries of No New Normal and have arrested 51 other for suspicion of counterrevolutionary thought.
Yeah they bragged about banning no new normal for wrong think and then bragged about quarantining 51 other subs for wrong think.
People on the Faggit KIA sub were speculating that a TOS change by Faggit was preparation to move against the tranny jannies orchestrating this blackout. I knew it wasn't, because Spez is a faggot with a long, long history of capitulating to those troons.
Seems like every time they pull this, though, more and more people get pissed at reddit...
Wonder if there's a way to weaponize this...

what if it was THE SAME PEOPLE?....
Wouldn't fucking surprise me in the least. There are legitimately people in the world who see others having a good time, and get jealous.
Because their site has become a place just for porn addicts and leftist politics. It used to be an all-purpose forum killer.
I’d like to see the numbers on active unique users
They might care that people get pissed and leave the site for a competitor if the numbers start to add up...
So fun then?
To be honest you left it - it didn’t leave you - it was always here - there’s forums I still hang out in from the “old” Internet before corporate interests started corralling people together
This is the most apt description for the way reddit has been run for the last 5 or so years. The site has gone downhill so quickly, now it's awful.
Bonus points for the 40K reference. Brilliant! XD
These fucking utter god damned fuck-wits think the words "falsifiable statement" means "statements proven false".
All of the tyrants are retards.
There was a ton of posts in there saying, basically, "I came here because of the blackout thinking it would be filled with a bunch of insane conspiracy theorists, but that wasn't the case."
I think it was that as well that basically did it in - people were realizing we weren’t crazy
We never were. We just questioned. And in an increasingly authoritarian world, the authoritarians must increase their grip.
Every try to hold a bunch of sand in a tight fist?
I think it was that as well that basically did it in - people were realizing we weren’t crazy
no nut november?
They banned that too for antisemitism.
Lol omg seriously? I’m literally not going back to check that site is dead to me now
No New Normal
Nutting Not Normal, too.
That is the funny part.
Admins literally changed the definition of "brigading" to mean this, to assist in the ban.
they banned td for 'threatening police' lmao.
Eventually plebbit will consist entirely of tranny jannies and their grooming victims.
So it'll turn into Discord? 🤔
Catholic church?
...yeah, I'm dating myself with that joke...
Vatican II was the culmination of the Masonic plan to capture the Catholic church. Here is the Permanent Instruction of the Alta Vendita. Chapters XIV and XV are the most relevant.
They banned it because the quarantine made it grow. The narrative cannot be questioned and the Establishment will stop at nothing to ensure that.
I hope spez will be around to regret bowing down to the jannies
He still knows enough that he could become suicidally depressed.
Especially with all the Jizzlane Maxwell stuff.
c/NoNewNormal

That shit always happens right after a sub ban, give it a day and it'll die down and go back to normal.
Back to no new normal?
One of those threads might be me, sorry.
Trying to be hospitable.
Just shows how many people were actually active in that sub, reddit is eating itself alive.
Found muh new home boys!
Edit: Not joking.
And it’s a small enough site right now that you got a great username! Lol
Doggos made a post with a timeline of what happened in case you haven't followed that drama: https://patriots.win/p/12kFPq7oFY/recap-on-how-rnonewnormal-got-ba/
Their conclusion is all wrong, though.

Td was banned over a year ago, not 9 months ago
Ah thanks for the correction.
Which subs got nuked over the January 6th debacle?
I wasn't on reddit back then, but anyone that claimed trump won was banned
Yeah I clocked out of Reddit for the most part as well. I just remember seeing some people post about various subs/communities getting nuked over it. Oh well.
Win is better imo
Absolutely.
reddit admins are faggots, and leftists are, at best, npcs.
Just be prepared to defend yourselves when the brown shirts come around for us.

Who gives a shit about Reddit?
None of you should still be giving them pageviews.
If gundeals would leave Reddit that would be it for me and that site.
Check win
They quarantined it first and the Streisand effect kicked in and a ton of people joined
People on the Faggit KIA sub were speculating that a TOS change by Faggit was preparation to move against the tranny jannies orchestrating this blackout. I knew it wasn't, because Spez is a faggot with a long, long history of capitulating to those troons.
N TO THE POWER OF 3 N3 NNN
Why are there still right wingers in reddit? It's like people enjoy getting banned and censored constantly.
What? Reddit censored someone/something? Well, at least we know one website that is for freedom of speech..... (hint, it isn't this one).
