That’s about right. Especially in expensive areas like mine where no matter how high your income is, most people are putting 80% of that into rent and food and such. If you’re living paycheck to paycheck like that, which most people are based on the stats, you don’t have much headspace to think about a lot else.
That’s also partly why financially independent people like me are the exact opposite.
I still can't get over how more people didn't see through it when they gave BLM a free pass to riot but wouldn't let people who aren't criminals eat at restaurants or go church. That was a flashing warning sign that they aren't doing this shit in good faith.
That double standard made it perfectly clear that leftist view Christianity as a nuisance they will tolerate only so long as it doesn't present any real obstacle to their agenda. The moment that you threaten their precious lockdown by going to church, they roll their eyes and say, "your really still think your invisible sky dad is important right now?"
Meanwhile, anti-white racial politics are so important that they override the lockdowns intended to protect us from a deadly virus. Your religious faith, one of the cornerstones of your whole existence, is less important than their politics, and their politics are more important than your life.
Increasingly, that's the question, isn't it? What do you value more than your life?
I remember seeing the video of those poor couples who were fortunate enough to be allowed to eat in a restaurant, only to be threatened and assaulted by "protesters" chasing them out.
I'm almost certain the restaurant owners/employees were setting up their own customers.
And that's a reason you can give as to defying said guidelines. If the politicians (that ACTUALLY make them, not the ones against from the start) aren't following them, no one else should either.
I had the same thought today since ive been seeing a lot of Anti CA Gov Recall signs lately. The slogan they went with is "Protect Our Progress". It hurts my brain to think how deep in the cult you have to be to think Newsom has made any positive progress that needs to be protected. I honestly hate these normie Dems just as much as any urinalist or politician
