It's hard to be outraged after the media spent the last year defending this exact behavior when it suited their agenda.
Yet the media turned around and branded throwing in the windows at the Capitol as 'terrorism' after defending violence, terrorism, burning, looting and murder for seven straight months.

Good. Much as I'm the first canuck to make jokes about our local french but I'm also the first to say we could stand to be a bit more like them.

Does setting fire to temporary tents really count as arson? I thought that required larger structures or vehicles to be damaged by fire before it went up from criminal vandalism to arson.

When liberals actually are violent, the media takes their sides. But when a few people in a group of Upset Patriots commit either no crime or petty federal misdemeanors, it's called an insurrection. The only insurrection that happened was on November 3rd and 4th when our duly elected president wasn't overthrown in a coup. All who participated should be tried for treason, and hung if found guilty.
But good for the French. We may joke that they are cowards, but it seems like if you push them enough, they turn around and bite. This may be the second French Revolution.

Because when tyranny is present... You don't get rid of it by asking nicely. That's kind of the whole point of the "tyrant" part of the word. You need people willing to go against the tyrant (terrorists, by strict definition, since the tyrant would make it illegal to go against the tyrant), and you need a lot of them (so "mob"). And they need to be organized (so, "rule").
Terroristic mob chaos won't get change. Terroristic lone wolfs with rules won't get change. Peaceful mob rule won't be given power. Peaceful lone wolfs definitely won't be given power.
Every dictator, oppressor, or authoritarian tyrant is taken down by the masses acting against the dictator in an at least semi-organized fashion. Tried and true through history. Why do you think they'd change it up, just for funsies?
