Honestly, I think it would be a good idea for hard right wing candidates to appear in deep blue races like Portland and Seattle. Give the people a real choice with a diverse array of candidates. See what the support of an actual right-wing candidate would get, even if you don't think you're going to win. With relatively unimportant races like city councilman or other such low-level positions; there's a chance you could get in and actually take action, and even be a weapon of larger political groups.

Yeah, the establishment conservatives might not like you, but you could still be useful as a weapon against the Left, and you could dedicate yourself to building up a base of support in the mean-time to prevent Leftist homogeneity.

I think it kinda depends.

If you go hard-right, smears aren't going to effect you, and it won't effect the people who vote for you. You might not win, but if you keep operating from the outside, you could really scare the shit out of the powers-that-be. There's the rare chance that you actually win and seize power. Again, you'll be isolated, but it won't matter as long as you're making everything into a giant problem for the power-establishment.

In the end, you'll probably still end up being a tool for a more moderate or establishment-right candidate, but by having a radical base already involved, you could give them something to work off of in order to disrupt the Left's hold on power.

And, to be honest, that's really the best you can hope for if you don't get super lucky.

The biggest concern isn't the smearing. The biggest concern is leftist agitators try to set your house on fire, and SPD arrests you when you try to defend your property from the assailants.

Fair enough? But I don't think that matters unless you actually get power.

That kid who was shot via Saint Floyd Memorial Executioner because he had a red hat on didn't actually get power.

They’ll arrest the hard right candidate for jaywalking. This is what happened in Europe 30 years ago and why black bloc can riot with near impunity there.

You can still get elected from jail.

You don't need to worry about that if you start off from a base where you're near-uncancellable. Alt-tech/right wing/non-censorious tech and digital institutions now exist, and if you can establish yourself in that space before you run then running will throw a huge wrench in races like these.

The main thing people have is that "first strike". If you come out swinging, and I do mean SWINGING you can make a huge dent in that election, the question is if your election hopefully doesn't help the far left wing candidate win, but I agree with OP that letting people know you are there as an alternative is a step in the right direction.

The problem is that... you actually have to live in the area in order to become a candidate, right? And with Antifa militia roaming around, protected by the government, that might be a less than great idea unless you're ready to become a martyr.

I know I'm voting for the guy with a brown military uniform and a short mustache. He seems to know what he is doing, is very outspoken on topics progressives are passionate about, and is, after all, a socialist.

From the picture alone and no other knowledge, I bet I'd vote for the giant black dude. I don't trust women and white people in leftist places and the two black guys in suits look like they keep their race card in their front jacket pocket for easy access.

The huge guy gets my vote just for his size alone, look at those other pussies. If he tells you to get your tent off the fucking sidewalk that's exactly what you're going to do, pronto.

I looked him up. He played in the NBA in the '80s and early '90s.

He's got to use his height in campaign ads. "There's on candidate that's head and shoulders above the competition: James Donaldson!"
