"Ordinarily I wouldn't dig much" yes you would you ugly cow, yes you would. Also, congrats on being a cunt for using adjacent in any context besides physical objects.
Arvada Police Chief Link Strate said in a news conference Tuesday that Hurley was “a true hero who likely disrupted what could have been a larger loss of life,” in the shooting near the Arvada Library Monday, but he did not elaborate at the time.
Tuesday evening, a man who witnessed the shooting, who was working in the nearby Arvada Army Navy Surplus store at the time, said he saw Hurley shoot at Troyke after Hurley watched Troyke allegedly shoot Officer Beesley.
The witness, Bill Troyanos, said he also saw Hurley being taken from the scene on a stretcher.
“He did not hesitate; he didn’t stand there and think about it. He totally heard the gunfire, went to the door, saw the shooter and immediately ran in that direction,” Troyanos said. “I just want to make sure his family knows how heroic he was.”
acquired taste, it took a few eps for me to get used to his style - I'm over 200 podcasts in at this point. Some of them are really strong with great advice and most of them have interesting stories
once I realized that he switches, without transition, between himself who is pretty much a grown boy who gets excited about shooting guns and rasslin' and the caricature of himself who exemplifies his impressive biography I "groked" the podcast
his podcast "character" is the person he thinks everyone expects to find when they hear "20 year navy seal commander, bigshot leadership consultant, black belt"
imo he doesn't take himself seriously but he stays in character so he gives the listener the option to take him as seriously as they choose to, because for some people that really helps apply the generally good advice he gives out
I'd never thought of that before. I know we get shallow dopamine hits from our phones, but it never occurred to me that lefties are compelled to constantly download the latest approved opinions. Without their phones, the anxiety of self-determination sets in hard.
“Samaritan” who killed Arvada gunman was shot by officer while holding suspect’s AR-15, police say
Fuck this Samaritan in scare quotes nonsense
DO NOT HAVE GUNS IN YOUR HAND WHEN THE COPS SHOW UP
Seriously, don't. This is why. The cops are going to come in like literal gangbusters and shoot you in the face if you don't comply faster than instantly. They're hopped up and the largest adrenaline dump they've ever had.
If you've already got a pistol, you don't need a battlefield pickup. I get maybe disarming the weapon, but even that's risky. I get wanting to be ready to engage secondaries, but you don't want someone thinking you are the secondary.
If the cops are going to cover shit up, they're not going to make an out-of-court record of admission to a potential civil lawsuit.
I'd bet the cops already talked with the family, the family probably understood what happened, probably signaled that they were not going to peruse civil charges, and in response the Police Department is playing very nice to keep themselves out of serious legal problems. There's no question that this is a very atypical response to a police shooting by the police. It's one that they are hoping will cover their ass.
That doesn't mean that the cops weren't telling the truth about what happened. What they describe is entirely possible. But, they are definitely playing nice to stay out of trouble.
Remember when some random Iowa football fan asked for a 2 dollar venmo to buy a coors, and people threw a ton of money at him, and then he donated all the money to some charity, and coors was going to honor him until some journy dug up a tweet from him in 2012 that said retard and coors cut all ties but still accepted his money?

Yeah if you're near it, you're cunt adjacent.
What a grotesque-looking witch.
Physiognomy. Every time.
to the commies actions don't matter, only displays of loyalty or disloyalty to the revolution
long but Jocko Podcast 22 about North Korean society is so relevant right now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-e_H6Skifc
Could you give a TL;DW ?
commies maintain control by requiring a constant stream of public displays of party loyalty that only the ideologically possessed can maintain
Thanks!
I have immense respect for Jocko but I don't find him to be a particular good listen.

I remember seeing him on Rogan before he started his own podcast and thought he was well read and had fascinating stories from combat.
I also like how he characterizes evil incarnate and the struggle against it.
I could just never actually get into his podcast. Probably because I don’t enjoy the "be the best you can be" narratives, even if they make sense.
Don’t lefties tend to be 9/11 truthers? Good grief, not believing Covid is the zombie apocalypse makes you a bad person?
I'd never thought of that before. I know we get shallow dopamine hits from our phones, but it never occurred to me that lefties are compelled to constantly download the latest approved opinions. Without their phones, the anxiety of self-determination sets in hard.
This isn't really left vs right anymore. Otherwise guys like Rubin or Ngo wouldn't be on our side. This is globalists vs nationalists.
I'm not a truther, but there's no question that 9/11 lead to great advancement of the globalist agenda.
Much like the Rona, I think a lot of "conspiracy theories" are random events the government made sure not to let go to waste.
That’s true.
lol a citizen with a gun did a better job than a bunch of cops, whose presence just made things worse.
Honestly, I would be on board with DefundThePolice if it also meant everyone could be armed and every state had strong self-defense laws.
Moral of the story: If you are the Good Guy With a Gun, don't let the cops see you holding a gun.
"Where are the good guys with guns"
not wanting to get shot by cops who can't do their jobs.

Dude's wearing a "We Are Change" shirt in the pic in that article. He was a gigabased hero. RIP King.

Was he really holding the suspect's ar-15? If I don't see footage, I assume the cops are trying to save face.
I mean, the cops admit shooting him for it.
