Having been raised a Christian, found my own way as an atheist, only to find my way back to religion in the fullness of time, I find this disgusting. They’re denying young people their own path to the truth by denying them worship. Whether they reject or embrace their faith, they won’t even be able to discover their true path if they’re completely denied the seeking of it.

I'd like them to stay open at least as a museum/tourist attraction- there's usually a lot of art/history in those places. The problem is we'd need to find something else to replace the way religion binds communities and promotes good values; currently, most 'atheists' are just turning to a new God in the form of their Social Justice cult. Without the Bible or someone telling them what is moral, they have no principles- and it shows.
There's absolutely no reason to close a church, particularly as a museum or tourist attraction. It's also why it's imperative to read the Bible in English literature classes, even American ones. The King James Bible is literally a pillar of English literature and a center of English culture. The American folkway bibles is basically how Americans became literate.
Sure take religious propaganda out of public schools, but recognize that religion is still a major core to Western history that physically can't be ignored.

I want all churches to close, but because nobody wants to go to them.
